Chapter Two: Other Social Media

Four weeks later

It has been a month and I don't know why but Matt is still talking to me. I would have thought he would leave me by now or do something to annoy be but no he is...amazing!

It's 7:30am and I should be leaving for school now.

I grabbed my bag and raced downstairs.

"Bye Mom!" I called before I left the house.

I took out my phone from the left side pocket of my bag and my Batman headphones from inside the bag. I hate using earphones. I prefer headphones because the sound is more surround. I love surround sound.

I plugged in my headphones and started to play my walking to school playlist. The first songs is....

I put the songs on shuffle and return my phone into it's pocket so I wouldn't have to carry it.

So tell me how does it feel, how does it feel to be like you. I think your mouth should be quiet because it never tells the truth. Now so tell me just tell me why, why does it have to be this way. Why can things never change...

I think I need to change this song before I cry. The song that was next in the list was better but worse.

I love Fall Out Boy. One of my favourite bands.

I took out my phone from its pocket and went on the MeetMe app I installed. More views. More admirerers. The only admirerer I care about is Matt.

I went on my messages. Someone accepted my friend request. I don't know why they have to send messages for that?

Matt messaged me!

Sent at 6:47am

Matt: Morning Beautiful :)

I was smiling like an idiot as I reached my school gates. Maddie and Alice were there as Per-Normal. I took off my headphones and paused my music before I greeted them.

"Hay Maddie, Hay Alice."

"Hay You Alright Bai?" Maddie asked.

"I'm Fine." I answered still smiling at my phone.

"I haven't seen a smile like that on your face in a while." Alice said.

I giggled. Before I switched off my phone I messaged Matt.

Me: At school. I'll message you later

I looked at the time before I switched it off. It's 8am. The gates should be opening soon.

Ah! There is premesis to open the gate.

I turned it off and put it in the left side pocket of my bag. I entered the school gates. Maddie on one side and Alice on the other. We entered the canteen and sat in our usual places.

"How was your weekend Guys?" I asked them both

I'm in my English class and we are researching for our end of school Year essays. It's practise for GCSE English Lit for Year 10. Yes I am in Year 9.

My bestfriend Brooklyn sat next to me. We've known each other practically our whole lives. I showed her the song I was listening to and she smiled. We have the same taste in music.

I went on my MeetMe app looking around the classroom to make sure noone was looking especially Mr. Andrews.

As usual I went onto my messages. Matt messaged me from earlier.

Sent at 8:01am

Matt: Okay :( See you later

I guess he'll be happy to here from me now!

Me: Hay! :3

In less than 10 seconds he replied.

Matt: Hi hi :3

I want to ask him for his Kik but i'm too scared....

Me: Matt, I'm deleting MeetMe.

Matt: What no!

Me: Yeah. I'm sowwie :( Don't you have any other social media?

Matt: I have Kik!

Hm...Guess it was easier than I though.

He gaves me his Kik just in-time. The bell rang and English was finished.

Me: I'll add you later. My class just finished!

Until after school Matt....
