Chapter Three: Get to know you

I didn't want to seem eager so I messaged him later than I would normally.

Sent at 4:30pm

Me: Hay Matt :3

10 seconds became 10 minutes. I began to worry. He has never taken this long to reply to my messages....

Since he was taking his time I decided to go downstairs into the kitchen. My Mom isn't home yet so I had to take care of myself for a while.

I took to the bread, ham and cheese from the fridge. I heard the door open and close.

"Mom?" I called.

"Yes?" Someone said in a high-pitched voice to sound like Mom.

"Tony, Leave me alone man." He just laughed and went to his room. He is such an annoying brother.

He really needs to airfreshen his room. It smells so bad!

I grilled my sandwich and returned to my natural habitat. The bedroom. I picked up my phone off my bed before landing on it with a thud placing the plate on my lap.

I swiped my phone to unlock it and saw I had a Kik notification.

I opened it and had 3 unread messages from Matt

Matt: Sorry for the late reply, Bailey

Matt: I had to pick my little sister from school...

Matt: Bailey!?

He has a little sister. That's so cute. I guess I don't actually know much about him?

Me: I'm here. Sowwie I was making myself a grilled Ham and cheese :)

Matt: You technically live on those don't you!?

Me: Maybe :3

I'm very picky about my foods. Grilled Ham and Cheese is about the most simplest thing I tolerate.

Matt: That's cute :3

I smiled at that message. I like it when he compliments me. It makes me feel special.

Me: Thanks :3

I decided to play some music since I wasn't really doing anything except talking to Matt. I got my headphones out of my bag, plugged them in my phone and made the volume earblasting.

The first song to come on in my FAVOURITES playlist was....

I started headbanging as the song picked up tempo. I love Paramore and all their songs.

My phone vibrated. I assumed it was a message from Matt. But it wasn't. It was a facebook Messanger message from...Daniel.

I used to have a crush on Daniel and he knew. We were cuddle buddies but he kind of gets on my nerves now. I can't deal with it....

I read the message and didn't reply. I felt bad because I don't like it when people do it so me so why do I do it to others?

My phone vibrated again and this time it was a message from Matt.

Matt: :P

Me: So, your little sister, how old is she?

Matt: She is 12

Me: That's adorable. I remember being 12. What's her name?

Matt: Brianna

Me: That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl

Matt: Yeah. I guess. I'll tell her you said that :3

Oh great!

My music was still playing so I didn't hear my Mom enter my room.

She tapped my shoulder. I locked my phone quickly and took off my headphones.

"Hi Sweety."

"Hay Mom." I smiled at her.

"How was school?" She asked.

"Great!" In my head i'm thinking not really. I hate my school but I wouldn't tell her that.

"How was work Mom?" I asked

"Good Darling. Remember you're sleeping round your dad's place tomorrow."

I totally forgot! But i'm so happy to be away from home for a few days. Dad has a new girlfriend and she is so nice. I even text her sometimes.

I'm going to Whatsapp her now...

To Emmah:

Sleepover tomorrow! Woooo :)

It's sent but not delivered. I'll have to wait til later.

This girl what is she doing up at these times!

I grabbed my Jean bag with my one too many badges on it and started to pack.

I packed my Batman top along with a black skirt, Batman tights and high platform shoes. Day one outfit done!

Day two outfit can consist of my London 58 top black and white top, black leggings and Fluffy Batman socks. I'll have to wash my uniform for Monday on Friday.
