Chapter Nineteen: First date fails

Me: Hay! Are you still coming to see me!?

I kept asking him this same question over and over. I don't want to be disappointed again....

I got home from church at 1:26. Matt said he would be in Southend by 2:30.

Noone is home. I'm so hungry. I go to the kitchen and make myself vegetable soup since it's cold. As the hot water boils, I keep flicking through my whatsapp to see if Matt has sent me a message. I messaged him this morning.

I sent him one final one:

Me: Look, If you can't or couldn't come see me you could have at least told me that to keep me waiting.

I was really upset and disappointed. I really can't take this anymore....

I heard the doorbell ring.

It's my nephew and older sister. My sister tells me she is here to drop of Leo, My nephew.

"But I'm going out."

"Where?" She asked me.

"To the cinema." Lies

"What are you going to see?"

"The Hunger Games: MockingJay."

She left it at that.

I went upstairs after finishing my soup. I had a facebook message from Shauna.

Shauna: What? Why!?

I told her that I think Matt won't come.

Me: He has let me down before and he can do it again

Shauna: But I don't think he will

Me: Well He said he would get here at 2:30. All I can do is wait

So I waited until 2:45 and I had heard nothing from Matt...

I messaged my friend Saskia because I still wanted to go out.

Me: Hay! Have you finished dance?!

Saskia: Yeaaaaah!!

Me: Wanna come meet me in Southend!?

Saskia: Yeah. I'll get changed as quickly as I can.

Yay! Now I have plans. It doesn't deminish the fact that i'm mad at Matt. He better have a good reason for not coming to see me.

"Hay Saskia."

"Hay Bailey." She replied, "Where do you want to go?"

"I need to look for gloves soooo, Let's go to Claires see if they have any nice ones."

We entered Claires. They did have nice ones but they were expensive to. I could just go to Primark and get a pack of 2 gloves for £1.

All they need to do is keep me warm.

Saskia and I took loads of selfies and had a good afternoon. I'm so happy she met me and it totally took my mind of Matt. I was kind of happy.

I got home with a frozen face. I was so cold. My little sister, Older sister and nephew were already here.

They offered me pizza but I declined. I was too upset to eat. I don't know what to do with myself.

Matt has done this for the second time and now he won't even reply....

I think I need to end it
