I love my life and yet I don't—
When I look around my home,
There are bodies laid,
All the blood swayed,
And dancing ghosts alone.
I love my life and yet I don't—
When I look beside my home,
There's a cry of a child,
Bile in my throat,
And screams of dying hope.
I love my life and yet I don't—
When I look inside my home,
There are hushed truths,
Echoing lies,
And laughter of taunting souls.
I love my life and yet I don't—
When I look away from home,
With haunting pasts,
And failing present,
No one to hold on.
I love my life and yet I don't—
When I look beyond my home,
There are graves of winners,
Houses of losers,
And mockings of hollow hearts-
Who leave me always alone.
I love my life and yet I don't—
When I look around the world,
The taints become clearer,
And history repeats.
The hauntings continue,
As the globe spins.
And thus the cycle of life goes on.
