I put the last pair of boots in my bag before my phone alarmed. They did say at five thirty in the morning they’re gonna pick me up from the room. Somebody suddenly knocked on the door. I unlocked the door to let them in. Izumo took one of my bags and crashed on the bed.
“Are the others even okay with the five of us going out of the country?”
“Not five, but six. Didn’t we tell you that Yata was coming too?”
“I never knew”
He smiled at me before I went outside with my purse and my other bag in my hand. When I got down the building Anna rushed towards me. I put the bag down and brushed her hair softly. Yata just looked at me before pulling his hood up his head and going back to his phone.
“What’s with Yata?”
“He’s in a bad mood”
“Yata, c’mon, it’s a great day”
He turned his head towards me with an angry look on his face.
“Who could not be mad at you for what you just did last night?”
“You left all on your own. I am not getting involved in this. I don’t even know why you were so mad at me!”
“Are you having amnesia or something?”
“Alright, stop this!”
Izumo looked at us before putting my things in the trunk and pulled me to the passenger’s seat. He might think it was best for us to sit apart than just a yard close or else there might have been an accident. When we all got in, he started the engine and soon started the car. Totsuka looked at me towards the rearview mirror.
“What happened last night with you and Yata?”
“He walked away after I wanted to talk to him while this guy is flirting with a student”
He sighed again before plugging in his earphones and looked away from me. This might have been my first time going to a different country rather than anything in Asia. I plugged in my earphone and looked towards Izumo which eyes were focused on the road. I took his free hand before he could look at me in shock. I unplugged my earphones and smiled at him.
“Relax. Your shoulders are too stiff”
“I’ll be fine”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah”
He pulled his hand away and still focused on the road. The car was completely silent expect for Anna’s loud breathing. When the car stopped, everybody woke up. I went out the car and grabbed my bags before Totsuka could get one of the bags. I took Anna’s bag and waited for them to follow me.
