"Wake up Amy" Dylan says whilst he beats me with a pillow.
Me and Dylan get on alright I guess, since mum had left though he doesn't talk as much and certainly doesn't seem as happy as he used to be... He quit all his sports and isolated himself from the world.
He is only about a year older than me though, mum got pregnant with me pretty much as soon as she had Dylan.
"What do you want?" I ask groggily.
"You to come downstairs and eat breakfast" He grins.
"I am not that hungry.. I will eat something at school" I reply.
Suddenly Ana appears out of nowhere.
"Tell this boy you are not eating" Ana demands.
Dylan's face turns from happiness to complete shock, he widens his eyes at Ana.
"Wait... can you see something Dylan"? I ask
"Who...who is that"? Dylan asks, afraid.
I swear he can see Ana, if he sees Ana... then everybody else will see her too? Does everyone at school hear Ana telling me to pretend not to eat? This is bad, very bad.
"Ana, its my friend Ana... she came home with me from school today" I answer.
"No, she is Ana- Anorexia"He states.
"Ana who"? I ask
Ana was short for anorexia all along, I am so stupid. I should have known before now... sometimes I really wonder how I am in a Grammar School.
I get up and walk past Dylan, motioning Ana to follow.
I then walk straight out of the front door, skipping breakfast and I begin to walk to school.
"He can see you Ana, my voice barely in a whisper".
"Let's just say, when your mum left he was not feeling in a happy place, Deb- short for depression was his demon at the time and she stupidly brought him to the place you went to that night in your dream, he can see all the demons because deb was so stupid to let him see the other ones, like me." Ana says.
"So anyone who has met you can see you"? I ask
"Yes, they can see me if they have fought any other demon and they were stupid enough to bring you to our place we call hell" Ana says.
"But, didn't you bring me there too"? I ask, confused.
"Yes... I didn't say I was the smart demon" Ana smiles.
I wonder if anyone can see Ana now then, I am sure many people has fought other demons and they can see Ana luring me into missing meals.
