Time passed.
Not much, just enough for everything to start unraveling. As if Colet finding out was not enough for the universe to untangle around them.

Keeping whatever was between them quiet was the plan.
The intelligent, mature, lowkey plan.

In reality?
It was turning into a complete disaster.

It happened on a lazy Sunday morning.

Aiah thought she was safe—she wasn't expecting visitors. She was wearing Mikha's hoodie and boxers, lounging on the couch while Mikha sat sprawled next to her, legs tangled under a shared blanket. They were halfway through an episode of some random Netflix show when—

Knock knock.

Mikha froze, halfway to stealing a sip from Aiah's mug.
Aiah gave her a panicked look.

"It's probably a delivery—" Aiah whispered, standing up to open the door.

Wrong.
It was Sheena.

"Hoy!" Sheena chirped, stepping inside before Aiah could react. "I just dropped by to return your—"

Sheena's eyes fell on Mikha, still tangled in the blanket, hair messy, socks mismatched, looking very much at home.
And on Aiah and the hoodie she was wearing, that was clearly Mikha's.

Sheena blinked.
Once.
Twice.

"Uy, Mikha?" she croaked out.

"Hey..." Mikha said weakly, lifting the mug like a toast. "Coffee?"

Aiah could practically see Sheena's brain short-circuit. "Wait—wait— what in the lesbian plot twist is this?"

"Keep your voice down!" Aiah hissed.

Sheena gasped dramatically. "Hala, Lord! Bless them!"

"Sheena, secret lang, please," Mikha said, face burning.

Sheena clasped her hands like she was making a vow at church. "Promise. But guys oh my god, kaya pala ibang galit nyo sa isa't isa — as in sexual tension for the gods pala yun!"

Aiah groaned, pulling Sheena inside fully before any neighbor overheard them.

The day after, Mikha thought she was safe to run a quick errand for Aiah—grabbing coffee and snacks.
Simple. Innocent.

She was practically humming to herself at the café, two drinks in her hands, when she heard:

"Mikha?"

Gwen.
Of all people.

Mikha turned, masking her horror with a fake, casual smile.
"Hey, Gwen!"

Gwen immediately clocked the two drinks, the massive paper bag.
Both drinks had stickers with two different milk preference notes.

"You're ordering for two?" Gwen said, a slow, knowing smile spreading across her face.

"Uhm... hydration is key?" Mikha tried.

Gwen tilted her head, assessing her. "Sino kasama mo, ha? Parang hindi ka lang delivery girl ngayon."

Mikha gave a pained grin. "Family. Friend. Di importante."

Gwen raised an eyebrow. "Not important daw pero glowing si ate. Ang lakas maka-first date energy, bes."

Mikha groaned. "Wag kang maingay."

Then Gwen scanned the room, and saw a familiar figure sitting at one of the tables, scrolling casually through her phone.

Gwen stepped closer and whispered, "Is that — si Aiah yun ah."
