Living the Dream [JERRIE]

Chapter 3

JADE P.O.V

I was about to make myself something to eat when I heard the doorbell ring. "I wonder who that is?" I say more to myself than physically say. It surely wouldn't of been one of the girls, as they would of just either rang me or left me alone.. Perhaps it's just the delivery guy as I ordered a few pieces of clothes online the other week, as if I tried to shop in a store it would be a failure as I would instantly be swamped with fans and cameras.

I look outside the window just to be sure that it isn't a crazed fan or anything as security puts it, but I was completely surprised when I witnessed Zayns silver Aston Martin pull away from my drive. Did that mean Perrie was here? Before I could think for another second I heard Perries beautiful voice through my letter box. "Jade I know you are in here".

Shit. I suppose I better open up the door.

PERRIE P.O.V

I heard movement in the house and saw the curtain move by the window. I know she is in there. I shout through her letter box and moments later the door swings open revealing Jade without make-up and in what she liked to call 'lazy' clothes, basically, a jumper and jeggings. Even looking like this, I think she is stunning.

She ushered me inside and we both sat on her sofa in an awkward silence.

"Can I get you anything to drink?" I heard her say breaking the lack of noise.

"I'll have a lemonade if you don't mind, thanks" I replied working up the courage to tell her how I feel.

"Ok, I will be right back, make yourself comfortable" She smiled walking out of the living room and into the kitchen to get my drink. This gave me some time to be along in my thoughts. How is she going to react? Does she feel the same way? This situation has a huge spectrum of outcomes, and I am hoping for the very unlikely one of her also being gay and liking me too...

Wouldn't that just be the best thing in the world? Me and Jade being in love, married, kids and spending the rest of our lives together? Wouldn't that be the dream!

I started to get a little tired as for some reason Jade was taking a long time, so I lead out flat resting my head on the side of the sofa cuddling a pillow, and took a nap.

JADE P.O.V

Whilst I was making Perrie her lemonade, I couldn't help but feel the overwhelming desire just to tell her how I feel. To be honest, I fell as if it is the only way for me to feel completely happy in my life. I don't want to have a fake boyfriend anymore, or be constantly hiding a huge part of myself to everyone around me. Even if she doesn't feel the same way, which I understand as hoping someone you presume is straight and in love with you is a big wish, I just need to tell her for some reason.

After finishing filling up our glasses with lemonade, I took a deep breath in and walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.

I was quite shocked at the sigh, there lay Perrie with sort snores coming out of her slightly open mouth and it had to be the single most adorable thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I yanked my phone out of my back pocket of my black jeggings and took a picture of her, not bothering to turn it on silent as an earthquake wouldn't wake her up.

I therefore decided just to wait until she woke up, so I rested the glasses on the coffee table and started to read a book. I decided to read 'Paper Towns' as it it probably one of my favourite books and started to read it.

A couple of minutes passed and I noticed that she started to stir slightly in her sleep. She started to mumble some sentences but I didn't think too much of it until I heard her say "yeah I'll go on a date with you Jade". That was like an orgasm to my ears! Does that mean she likes me too? This gave me the biggest smile on my face, and most definitely gave me the courage I need to tell her my undeniable feelings I have for her.

PERRIE P.O.V

I felt the sun start to hit my face as I was asleep. I flutter my eyes open allowing them to adjust to the brightly lighted room present and I noticed Jade deep in thought with a book resting on her lap.

I can't believe I feel asleep when we were going to talk about what happened.. She must really hate me know as I didn't think she actually wanted to see anyone when she ran out of the studio earlier on today.

"Oh you're awake" I heard her say with a wide smile on her face. What was she so happy about? I want to be the one who makes her happy!

I noticed that she looked a litter nervous, so I decided to speak up. "What has made you so happy then?" I said not really expecting an answer as she seemed like she didn't really want to speak.

JADE P.O.V

"What has made you so happy then?" I heard her say. This was my chance to at least try and tell her about my feelings.

"A certain someone" I said looking right into her eyes. Before I could say anything else I heard her mutter under her breath something along the lines of "stupid Toby".

Was she jealous of Toby making me smile or laugh? Did that mean she actually has feelings for me then? This is my chance, I have to take it.

"Hey Pez I need to tell you something, please don't freak out or hate me.." I explained, whilst she sat up and nodded understandingly. I made my way over to the sofa she was on, picked up her legs so we would both fit and sat next to her, looking straight in eyes.

"Ok, imgayandireallylikeyou" I quickly said so it was practically inaudible.

"What was that Jade? I didn't understand." She replied nodding her head to influence me to repeat myself.

"Look, it's hard for me to say this, especially to you" I replied getting another understanding nod from her, what I wasn't expecting is for her to put her hand on my knee and rub it with her thumb. I'm not sure why; but this gave me the encourage I needed to tell her.

"I'm a lesbian, and I like you as more than a friend" I said in an understandable pace. She looked up at me and a huge smile came across her face. At first I didn't understand why, but that was all cleared up soon.

"Jade it's ok, I'm gay as well and I kinda like you too" she said smiling at me. I smiled like a fool and took the opportunity to lean in and kiss her.

Her arms went around my neck whilst I put mine around her waist. It wasn't a very heated kiss, yet it was simple and passionate.

Air soon became a problem and we parted lips looking in to each other's eyes. "Wow..." We both said at the same time.

Wow indeed.
