Living the Dream [JERRIE]

Chapter 18

JADE P.O.V

I can't quite believe it, but Perrie and I have been together for a whole month tomorrow. I know a month may not sound a lot, but to me it has felt like years.

I have never been so happy in my life than I am right now, and although the main reason is of course Perrie, Little Mix are also doing extremely well at the moment. Black Magic has been number one in the UK for like a month, and it has reached number one in the USA, and it managed to stay there for a few days! For a British girl band, that is amazing!

Like I said, it is our one month anniversary tomorrow, and I still haven't got Perrie a gift. It needs to be perfect! I decide to call Debbie, to help her with the gift for Perrie.

"Hey Jade, what's up?" She asked.

"Hey Debs, are you busy at the moment?" I asked her.

"No I'm not, why?" She questioned.

"Well it is me and Perries one month anniversary tomorrow and-" I said, before being interrupted.

"Really? Congratulations for tomorrow if I don't say before" She exclaimed down the phone.

"Oh thanks" I laughed.

"Sorry, continue" She chuckled, as I almost lost my train of thought.

"Oh yeah" I said, before continuing, "I was wondering if you could come shopping with me, to buy Perrie a present?" I asked, hopeful she would say yes.

"Yeah ok, why do you need my help though?" She questioned.

"I just need it to be perfect, and the only person who knows her better than I do is you" I informed her.

"Ok then, does Perrie know?" She asked me.

"No, she is shopping with Jesy and Leigh right now, so we have a few hours" I said, looking a my watch.

"Ok, can you pick me up, Jonnie has taken the car" She asked.

"Of course, I'll be there in half an hour" I told her, putting the phone down.

I decided to wear a white and black checked shirt, with denim skinny jeans and my white converse, my favourite shoes.

I ran outside as I am running slightly late, I run outside the front door and somehow manage to avoid the paps outside. I hop into Perrie and I's Ferrari and head over to Debbie's house. I made my way up to the door, and unfortunately the paps followed me here. I knock on the door, and a shocked Debbie appeared.

"I'm still not used to these guys!" She said, laughing.

"I'm still not, and I'm the one they are after here!" I told her, laughing with her.

"Did you by any chance bring an extra pair of sunglasses? I broke mine yesterday, and the flashes hurt my eyes." She asked me, quite hopeful. I now know where Perrie gets the adorable look from.

"Yeah, of course I do" I chuckled, handing her a pair of all-black ray-bans out of my bag.

"What would I do without you eh?" She laughed, tucking her hand between my arm, walking to the car. I opened the door for her, and allowed her to get in. At the back of my head, I could hear all of the clicks of cameras in the background.. I don't mind them if I am by myself, but I am not too fond of the paparazzi when they go for my family, or hopefully in this case future family.

"I wondered why Perrie always called you a gentlewomen, but I guess I know why!" She told me, smiling.

"Am I really? I don't really notice" I ask her.

"You let people hold onto your arm, open doors for people-" She rambled on.

"Ok, ok, I get it" I laughed at her.

The drive to the mall took around 20 minutes, and Debbie and I talked about completely random stuff on the way there, and we also discussed the perfect present to get Perrie.

As per usual, loads of photographs were being taken by the paps, and I allowed some fans to have selfies taken with Debbie and I, which Debbie found strange at first, as some of the fans called her "one of Jerrie's mum's", which she seemed to love in the end.

We had finally picked out the perfect gift for Perrie, and now we are heading to the shop to buy it. We decided on a weekend trip to Disneyland Paris, as Perrie and I are huge fans of Disney, and she has never been there.

"I think she is going to love it!" Debbie said, clapping her hands together.

"I hope she does!" I said, smiling at the tickets in my hand, which I had just paid for.

"I'm really glad she has someone like you Jade!" She told me, being serious for a moment.

"I'm really glad I have her too" I smiled at her, and hugged her tight.

"I can't wait for you to be officially part of the family" She said, with tears in her eyes.

"Debbie," I laughed, before continuing, "We've been only dating for a month."

"I know-" she sniffed, "I've waited all of her 22 years for her to find someone perfect to spend the rest of her life with, and now that she found you, I'm really happy. And that is all I could ask for."

"Aww Debs" I told her, wrapping my arms around her once again.

Per usual, I heard many camera clicks going off. I tried my best to ignore them as Debbie and I made our way back to my car, so we could go home. We were walking normally, until I noticed a pap try and pull Debbie towards them.

"Don't you dare touch her!" I yelled, holding her waist, and sitting her in the car.

"I'm sorry about them.." I told her, giving her an apologetic smile.

"No problem, thanks for helping me out" She told me, rubbing my hand.

"That's fine, future mother-in-law" I said to her smiling.

"One day, one day.." She told me, as I pulled away.

I hope she enjoys the trip..
