It all falls into place

I had no idea what to say. He has thrown many things into light, but I was left with more questions than I had to start with. I voiced the one screaming itself through my head “Where is the child?” I knew the answer already but I still had to ask.

“I’m sure that you already know the answer”

“It’s me isn’t it? I always wanted to be the Savior, but that was as a joke. I would attempt to bend all the elements, but it never worked. Tell me why it didn’t work”

“It is you. You are the Savior, but you couldn’t recognize your powers until your friends recognized them also. Ava and Nico are the two that I helped escape. Ava was the best firebender that you have ever seen, and Nico was the last of his kind. They were an amazing team, but then I came and ruined it.

I fell hard for Ava she was all I could think about for months on end. I tried to tear the two apart. Until I saw how it was tearing Ava’s heart in two. I had to be the bigger man and to show that I accepted their relationship; I helped them escape to a better life. I didn’t know that they would land here and it was pure luck that this was where you also landed. Me on the other hand, I landed on the other side of the country; in New York” with that last sentence I could see that he was devastated. “I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you like your mother wanted me to be. Please forgive me. I was trying to save your life. For that, you had none”

I felt horrible and wanted to let him know that I didn’t blame him, but in a way I did. He was supposed to be my guardian in this world. Instead of a brother I was raised for the last six years by parents who were never sure if they could love me. Instead I said what was the first step in my long journey “You are forgiven” I knew those three words meant the world to George but I didn’t expect the outcome.

“We need to go, Ms. Live is com…” He was interrupted by a crash, and then the sickening sound of a tree dying. He pushed me out of the way, and just in time. Because a split second later there was a crush, and right where I was standing the huge oak tree was lying there. I looked around for the cause, but I knew I didn’t want to know. I looked up towards the hill, and standing there brown hair in his eyes, standing tall in his boots, wearing just his jeans and a new leather jacket with his black onyx eyes full of hate.

It was Cliff and he has finally come to kill me.
