As Jeremy leads Kayla into the Salvatore Boarding House, Elena and Stefan stay back watching over the two

"What are we going to tell Jeremy?" Elena questioned as Stefan squinted in confusion
"About what?"
"Vicki? What else?"

Stefan paused for a second before turning to face Elena completely "You don't know? I thought he'd have said something"
"About what?"
"Everything"

Eyes widening, the oldest Gilbert siblings jaw dropped

"You really didn't know? Jeremy was the one to bring her to the hospital after what happened with Zach"

"That's right, he was at the hospital" Elena sighed putting her hand on her forehead before continuing
"Well if he knows maybe Jenna should too"

Stefan went to respond before Jeremy came back outside "How exactly does the blood thing work?"

A yell came from inside the house I'm not drinking anybody's blood!"

Ignoring the yell Jeremy waited patiently for a response as Stefan began to make his way inside to the girl with the two siblings following behind

"It'll take awhile to heal otherwise Kayla. Just let me give you like a teaspoon"

Kayla made a face of disgust at her cousins suggestion "Hell. No. Just give me the pain killers. Jeremy already cleaned the area. It'll leave a hickey at best"

"Yea and an infected decay of flesh worst"
"Shut up Jeremy no it won't"

Kayla rolled her eyes before stopping them on Stefan, watching for his response
"Maybe not infected since he did clean it"
"What?! My flesh is gonna decay?!"

Stefan pulled his lips in to hide his smile as Jeremy grabbed some pain killers off the table, handing them to Kayla

The oldest Gilbert sighed "Look now's probably not the best time but there never is. I know you know about vampires Jeremy"
"Girl Duh"

Pausing, Elena rose an eyebrow before glancing at Kayla who shrugged
"Caroline says he spends too much time with me"

The green eyed Salvatore nods in agreement "She's right. He's got an attitude problem just like you"
"Shut up Stefan"

Ignoring the bickering between her boyfriend and brother, Elena continues
"I think we should maybe tell Jenna"

Jeremy's eyes drift back to Kayla who was wincing as he responds to his sister
"I agree, she's safer knowing"

The youngest Gilbert sits beside his girlfriend waiting on her to take the pills but she just looks at him and then the bottle before turning her face up
"I'm supposed to take these dry or something? I can't get no water? Y'all really do want me to suffer"

"You could take it with-"
"Only blood i've ever drank was the blood of Jesus on communion Sundays, just bring me a glass of water please"

"I got it" Stefan leaves the room with Jeremy following

Elena sits down beside the younger teen, watching her lay her head back on the couch

"You know...Part of me wishes I could forget. All of this I mean. Having learnt about it."

Eyes still closed Kayla sighs "Truly. I don't think we would've had a choice. Your dad use to tell Jer stories about things that go bump in the night"

Elena brings her legs onto the couch, listening as Kayla finally picked her head up, opening her eyes but not making eye contact with Elena "If his weird ass stories are true, this was always going to happen. Just a matter of when"

"You think it could go back to the way it was?"
"No way Mystic Falls is the only place crawling with supernatural life. Only way you'll get back 'the way it was' is if you ask Stefan to erase it"

"Is that what you want?"

Kayla and Elena's heads turn to the kitchen as Stefan and Jeremy came back into the room

"I'll let y'all talk. I'm gonna wait outside" Kayla makes her way towards the door with Jeremy right on her tail. Once the two teens closed the door behind them, Kayla rose an eyebrow

"What were you asking Stefan?"
"What?"
"No way it took both of you 10 minutes to get a cup of water"
"I was asking more questions about how everything worked"
"Why?"

Jeremy sat in silence as Kayla frowned "You don't want to be a vampire do you? You've got to be kidding"
"People keep dying Kayla. I don't want that to happen to me or you or Elena or Jenna"
"It won't-"
"You don't know that!"

"Okay, I understand being scared of death but I really don't think there's much appeal in watching everyone you love and know grown old while you stay young forever"

"You sound like Stefan"

Kayla and Jeremy turn their heads to Damon

"You're back"
"Duh Gilbert I'm standing right here"

Jeremy snaked his arm around Kayla wearily

"Relax. I'm not gonna hurt Kayla. I would've killed you both already if I was going to do it at all. I was just saying Stefan's got a point."

Damon walked up the steps eye contact never breaking with Jeremy "You live long enough, you may just turn into me. Or that undead virgin in your house"

"Stefan's a virgin?" Kayla questioned as Elena and Stefan came outside
"You're a virgin Stefan?"

"Kayla can you actually just ignore Damon for the rest of your life"
"Come on baby bro and babier cousin. Let's go get that neck checked out and you into bed"

"Babier is not a word and Stefan still didn't answer my question. I thought you and Elena would've-"

"Yea Good night" Jeremy kissed Kayla's head and grabbed Elena's arm going back inside the house not wanting to hear about his sisters sex life

"Seriously tho Stefan, you died a virgi-"
"Get in the car Kayla"
