Matt brings me a basket of French fries as I sit down. I can't believe that my family is moving again. And to top it all off, Kai, my boyfriend of two years, broke up with me. Why do I even try?

"Are you gonna talk? Or are you just drowning in your misery alone," a familiar voice mocks me. I look up at Damon as he raises his eyebrows. I shrug my shoulders and eat another fry. Suddenly he grabs my basket of fries and holds them out of my reach.

"Give me my fries and no one gets hurt," I all but whisper.

"And you whispering is going to hurt anyone," Damon smirks, eating my food.

"It will. Now give me my fries," can you please go away so I can stop talking? I glare at him until he starts looking uncomfortable. If he was an anime character he would have a bead of sweat running down his face right about now.

"So what's wrong with you? You never eat alone unless you're sad," he cocks an eyebrow. He needs to stop that. It's beginning to seem like he has a twitch.

"Go away Damon," I reach out to try and grab my fries but he pulls them further away.

"Now why would I leave the only leverage I have alone," he asks, smirking malevolently. Leverage? He wouldn't use me against Kai right?

Suddenly a hand covers my mouth, pressing a cloth against my nose. Eventually I black out.

"Welcome to the land of the living," Damon smirks when I come to. I narrow my eyes and wait for what he wants.

"Where is Kai," he asks. When I don't answer he brings out a knife. "Come one, Brieley, loyalty will get you nowhere." I keep my mouth shut until the knife stabs into my hand.

"Somewhere on the continent of North America," I smirk, telling him obvious information. He narrows his eyes and his grin widens. He pulls the knife out of my hand and shoves it into my thigh.

I grunt as he laughs at my pain. "I won't give you any information, so if you're going to kill me, do it," I smirk, knowing he'll do it. I won't ever give Kai up, even if he did shove a dagger through my heart by leaving me. He slowly approaches me and wraps his arms around my neck, choking me.

Kai's POV

She's dead? No, he's not stupid enough to kill her. No one would dare kill Brieley especially not Damon. After all he saw what I did in the prison world. Someone rings the doorbell and I slowly answer it.

"Special delivery for a Mr. Kai Parker," a man says, slowly setting down a huge box. I sign for it and he leaves. I pick it up and carry it inside. Why is it so heavy?

Carefully I open it and push it away once I see what's inside.

"Oh my-oh my god," I mumble, nearly throwing up. They killed her. They killed Brieley. Anger consumes me and revenge is all I can think about.

I storm from my house and to the Salvatore house. Smirking, I put a clocking spell on Elena and myself. She turns around confused and I smash her face in with a tire iron. As she passes out I drag her away from the house and to mine. I should really invest in a car.

When she finally wakes up, tied to a chair, she grunts in pain. Vervain on the ropes, who didn't see that coming?

"Damon killed my girlfriend, now I'm going to kill his," I drive a stake through her stomach.

"Just kill me, Kai. Just like you've killed everyone else you've ever come in contact with," she spits blood on my face. I wipe it off and jerk the stake out of her gut and shove it into her heart.

I pull her out of the chair and look for a shipping box big enough for her to fit in. When I finally locate it, I stuff her body into it and tape the box shut.

"Revenge is a bitch, ain't it," I whistle as I carry the box to the Salvatore house.
