Chapter 79

"If you bought us tickets to One Direction I would marry you on the spot," I mumble while looking at pictures of the boys on Pinterest. Kai smirks and rolls his eyes.

"Just a little farther," Kai says, leading me forward. I haven't been able to see anything since he put on the blindfold. So, I'm hoping he doesn't run me into a pole or something.

"And surprise," the blindfold is ripped off and my jaw practically hits the floor. I'm standing in the middle of an empty arena but I hear people backstage.

Suddenly the first notes of 'Perfect' start playing and my heart pounds. Are we seriously the only people coming to this concert? My heart is pounding so loudly I'd be surprised if they couldn't hear it over the music.

"Happy Birthday," Kai yells over the music. I put my hand over his mouth and listen to the boys.

During the middle of the show, Liam looks right at me.

"So, we heard it's someone's birthday today," he smiles. My smile widens until I'm sure it could crack.

"Happy birthday," they begin singing. My face turns red. The whole experience is amazing. My heart swells with happiness and joy. My eyes well up and I wrap Kai in a huge hug.

"So, how was your night," Kai asks as he drives home. It's 4 AM but I'm not even tired in the slightest. Adrenaline is still pumping through me and keeping me excited.

"It was amazing. I love you," I kiss his cheek and he smiles.

"I love you too," he says, taking my hand.

"How did you manage to buy out that entire concert? Before the fangirls got the tickets?" I ask.

"A true magician never reveals his secrets," he smirks as I groan, frustrated.

"Ok," I mumble. I turn on the radio and Never Enough is playing. I sing quietly and laugh as Kai hums along with me.

When we get home I make my way quietly into the kitchen, but Kai stops me. I turn when he puts his hand on my elbow to see him kneeling on the ground looking at me like I'm the most beautiful girl in the world.

"Anna Banana, you light up my world like nobody else, I love you with all of my heart. I can't get enough of you baby, but I'm going to spend the rest of my life with you if that's what you want. Will you marry me," tears have welled up in my eyes and I nod rapidly, kissing him. This couldn't have been better. It's the perfect ending to a perfect day.
