Chapter 5

"Hey, Princess," Kai says from the kitchen as you walk in from work.

"Hiya Kai," you smile. He kisses you on the cheek and goes back to cooking. He always cooks dinner after you pull a double shift. He's so gentlemanly even though sometimes you're the biggest grouch ever.

"How was work?" He asks as he makes plates. You go to put some forks out, but arms wrap around your waist, "Nah ah ahh. I've got it. You just sit down, beautiful," he whispers in your ear. A shiver runs down your spine and he chuckles against your neck.

He takes you to a chair and pushes it in after you sit down. After he sits down, he dims the light and lights the candles using magic. You'll never get used to him using his magic.
