Chapter 17;
Jess p.o.v.
After last nights activities, getting up at 8.30am was like torture. Neither of us wanted to get up, but we were woken up by the shrill ring of the alarm.
I had been awake since 8am, doing what he normally did to me - watching him sleep - it was fascinating. He was so peaceful, and unlike me he did snore.
"Mmm, are you watching me, Angel?" he asked in a sleep stained voice, breaking me out of my day dream.
"Maybe." I smiled, leaning down to kiss his cheek. "Come on sleepy - we'll be late otherwise!" Our flight wasn't until 11am, but if we didn't get out of bed now, we would both get distracted and we would miss our flight.
"No." he moaned sleepily, sinking further into the pillows.
"Ok." I said seductively, "I thought we could share a shower but if you're too tired..." I trailed off. Even I could hear the wink in my voice, but he needed to get up.
"I'm up!" he said loudly, leaping out of the bed. With a laugh, I replied
"Hmm. That worked." With a visible wink and a laugh this time. His face dropped as he realised I had tricked him, but he just smiled and joined in. After showering, eating and packing the last of our stuff, we were on our way to Stockholm airport.

After checking in and the long wait, we boarded the plane. It was lovely to have Jess with me this time, even if we did get a bit of press attention. I knew what the headlines would say, "Saade and girlfriend boarding plane for romantic holiday." Well, it wasn't far from the truth, if I was honest.
I had insisted on carrying her case to the check-in, to which she had sighed but agreed. I knew she liked to be in charge, but I was a gentleman after all. We had walked up the steps to the plane and sat down in our seats.
I had tried to get her on a private plane (it's so much quicker!) but she had said that we needed some normality and besides, I had already paid for the ticket - she wouldn't let me spend more on her.
I liked going over to England because there was much less press coverage - they didn't seem to care about us as much over there. Sure there was the odd picture or magazine article, but they were far kinder to us than the Swedish press were.
Jess said she had been recognised by some of my fans a few weeks ago, when she was in a shop. I had been in Norway for meetings, but she told me all about it and how she had been flattered by it.
Of course I liked being here with her as well. I had met a few of her friends, as well as meeting up with Chloe again. I had met her ex boyfriend - he had thanked me for making her happy again and he assured me there were no bad feelings, and I had met her mother and father.
After the first "what are your plans with my daughter?" from her father, he had soon warmed to me - Jess's words - and her mother had liked me straight away.
She had met my parents and siblings as well. I had taken her to my hometown, Kattårp. We spent a few nights there, and my mother had fallen in love with Jess - I couldn't blame her.
My siblings said she was 'interesting' and 'cool' because she was English and they loved her accent. I laughed with them, overjoyed that they had gotten on well.
A few hours later, we landed at Heathrow airport. To our shock, there were more reporters than we had ever encountered here. They kept their distance but shouted all kinds of questions at us and took countless pictures.
Jess just beamed at me as I held her hand, walking us through the crowds. The press were with us all the way to the taxi, where they respectfully backed off. We waved to them and were then on our way home.
