Chapter 12;
Eric p.o.v.
I had been home for about 10 minutes, sitting on the sofa in silence when I heard a knock at the door. I slowly walked over, opened it and saw JSon there, supporting a nearly passed out Jess.
"Hey, Bro." he said sadly. "She's completly out of it. You want me to-"
"Nah, man. I'll do it." I replied, taking her from his arms and putting most of her weight on me. "Thanks though. For earlier - and bringing her home." I replied, smiling sadly at him.
"Course, Bro. See ya soon?"
"Yeah, soon." I smiled at him again, shutting the door behind him.
I helped Jess up to the bedroom, laying her on the bed, taking off her shoes and my hat and covering her with the duvet.
I went to the kitchen to get a large plastic bowl, a glass of water and some headache tablets, taking them to the bedroom and setting them down on the bedside table.
I woke Jess, trying to convince her to drink some water. She did, nearly half the glass. "I love you." she slurred. I sighed, suddenly angry again.
"Go to sleep." I replied, my patience running low.
"So pretty!" She mumbled, running a hand down my face. My whole body went rigid at her touch, and I had to fight not to walk away. Just then, she started being violently sick in the bowl.
I sighed again, but held her hair back in one of my hands as the other was resting on her back, rubbing in circles unconsciously.
It took her ten minutes to stop vomitting, and after that I covinced her to drink more and to swallow the pills. She fell asleep quickly after that, so I got changed into my sweats and tee.
I grabbed a blanket and pillow from the cupboard in the hall and went to the sofa.
Not that I got any sleep. I hadn't heard anything from Jess since earlier, and at 5am I found myself standing outside on the balcony, leaning over the edge, staring at the water below.
I kept thinking about and seeing what she had done. I walked back to sofa at 6ish, and fell straight asleep, much to my relief.
