Chapter 6;

Eric p.o.v

(Eric Saade - Coming Home)

In this video, we would be re-enacting our current situation - lovers, living in different countries, being kept apart. JSon had helped me write the lyrics.

When we got to the shoot, the makeup and costume people had taken us to different places. I was put in a smart black suit, hair somewhat tamed, and a splash of makeup. Not a lot that could be done here.

Jess however, looked stunning. She was not wearing her usual jeans and loose top, but a form fitting, dark blue knee length dress with black high heels.

She had on beautiful jelwery, smoky make up and her hair was down but loosly curled. I could not take my eyes off her as she walked over to her place on set, and it seemed she could not take her eyes off me either.

In the first scene, we were meeting in a club. I had to sing/mime along with the music, as well as act out the scene on my own first but I had not thought to play the track to her before it had started playing, after the director had yelled 'action'.

#I'll fly across the globe,

To another place, a different day,

Wish I could see your face.

Home is where your heart is around.#

I saw her face change as she listened to the music and lyrics, watching me acting the first scene. She went from bubbly and happy, to crying in a matter of sceonds.

When I saw the tears falling down her face, I stopped what I was doing, yelled 'stop!' and ran over to her.

"Jess! What's wrong?" I asked her, holding her shoulders lightly and bending down so I could look her in the eyes.

"I-it's so b-beautiful, Eric." she hiccupped. I let out a sigh of relief.

"So, you are not crying because you are upset?"

She laughed now, "No." after a brief pause "Thank you." she said, hugging me. She pulled away, sniffing and said "Go get 'em," she told me whilst laughing.

The next outfit change was for a beach. I was put in pale swimming trunks and a pale blue shirt, open, no buttons done up.

Jess had been put in a black swimming costume with a sarong, bare feet, a colourful necklace and matching braclet. Her hair was still curled but tied up and her makeup was minimal. Which, I had to admit, I preferred.

The costume changes went on all day - by 3.30, we were both exhausted but excited for the final edit. We were allowed to leave at 3.30, so we went to get changed.

I put my jeans back on, white tee and leather jacket. Jess had put back on her skinny jeans, converses and strappy top and her still curled hair was around her shoulders. She held her jumper in her hands as she came out of her dressing room.

I did not see her at first as I was talking to an extra/fan. She had asked for a picture, and I obliged, posing with her.

She suddenly turned and kissed me - just as Jess was walking out. I heard a gasp and managed to move away from the woman, who tried again to kiss me. I moved further away so she would get the message.

"Jess! Wait, Jess!" I yelled after her as she ran. I reached her just as she got to my car, reaching for her arm. "You have to believe me - I did not kiss her!" I tried to reason. I could hear my accent becoming stronger as I was becoming more agitated.

"I just saw you, didn't I?!" she asked, her voice raised. She shoved me away as I came closer to her, trying to calm her down and to reason with her, to make her believe that I hadn't done it.

"I never thought you would do that!"

"I didn't - please! She kissed me!"

"Just take me home." She sighed heavily. "Now." she continued as I was staring at her in disbelief.

How could she think I would kiss someone else when I had her? My heart broke at the thought that she did not trust me. With a nod, I got in the car and drove us home.
