"Hey, can someone buy me ice cream?" I ask Em and Josh was we walk on the board walk. It's literally a billion degrees outside and I'm dying from the heat. Yeah, yeah I should be use to it since I lived here, but I swear it's hotter than usual...

"Mads, you're gonna get me broke. So no." Josh snickers.

I pout as I look over at Em, " Pleeeaaasseeee?" I beg. I had no money on me so I had to improvise.

"Why don't you have your boyfriend buy you ice cream when he comes back." Em smirks and jerks her head towards the boys bathrooms.

I blush, "H-he's not my boyfriend."

"Oh but you sure want him to be yours." Em smirk grows and she cocks her head to the side.

Ughh I hate when she's right, I thought.

I blush and see Matt coming back. I glare at Em before running over to Matt with an innocent smile on my face. "Matttttt," I ask while I poke his stomach. "Can you buy me ice cream? Pleeeaaasseeee?"

Matt groans with a smile on his face but says, "You should be glad I like you." He grabs my hand and walks me to the ice cream stand.

"I promise I'll pay you back when we get back to Minnesota." I tell him when in reality I'll forget. What? I'm a very forgetful person.

"Or you could just pay be back by going on a date with me."

Wait. Did I hear that right? Did. Did he just ask me out?

I look up at him and raise my eyebrows, "W-wait. What?" I blush and try to hide my excitement.

He smirks and squeezes my hand. "Next." The person in the ice cream stand says in a deep voice. I look at the boy in behind the stand and, I have to say, he's good looking. He has brown curly hair with a nice tan that makes his blue eyes stand out. He catches me staring and I quickly looking up at the menu.

"Oh. Umm," I search for a flavor, trying to ignore the fact that I'm blushing a bit. I sigh, "Matt, should I get orange sherbet or carmel pecan?" I ask him very seriously, making him chuckle.

"Mmm," he frowns as he thinks, "Carmel pecan."

"Alright." I mutter then clear my throat nervously before telling the guy, "I'll have the Carmel pecan in a waffle cone please." I give him a warm smile and he smiles back. Matt saw that because he clears his throat to make sure that I knew he's here and puts an arm around me, pulling me close. I give him a curious look while he starts glaring at the guy.

I plastered an evil smirk on my face and decide to play along.

I keep looking at him while he grabs a waffle cone that's dipped in chocolate at the top part and scoops the carmel pecan. He walks to the register and quickly writes something on a napkin before wrapping it around the waffle cone.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, "Uh, I didn't ask for the chocolate dipped waffle cone."

He smiles at me and says, "I know." He hands me my ice cream and adds, "Here, no charge, it's on me." He winks my way and I blush. Matt tightens his arm around me and says, "Let's go, M." He shoots the guy a death glare and walks me away from him.

Once were out of earshot I ask him, "Why'd you do that for? What if I wanted to thank him." I smirk and look up at him. I laugh my butt off internally when he has an annoyed and jealous look on his face. "Aww, what's wrong?" I pinch his cheeks, "Is someone jealous?"

Matt scoffs, "No."

I smirk evily and look at the napkin, "Then maybe I'll call him later." Matt looks at the napkin that says:
