"HAPPY HALLOWEEN, BITCHES!"

Mikey yelled from across the bar, entering the door with Darren, Mikey's older brother, Raymond, Freddie, Eric and Craig, all grade school friends of Mikey and Darren.

I turned and faced Karen and leaned in for her to hear me.

"Listen, Karen, I have to head home."

Karen gave me a sadden face and said, "Aw, why do you have to leave so early? We just started having fun!"

"I've got to head home and treat the kids. I've got six giant bags of candy, waiting to be handed out. I'll call you tomorrow before I go to work."

"All right."

She said, setting her beer on the counter, then turning to hug me with a faint smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke coming from her clothes and her hair. I hugged back and started my way towards the door.

"You could've had a few drinks before you left!"

"I can't! I don't want to go to work reeking of alcohol and smoke!"

I yelled, walking out the door. That was always my excuse after going to a bar with friends. They drink, I don't.

Even outside, the music was still jarring my insides. The bar wasn't my idea. It was Karen's. She thought it would be fun for all of us to go out and get drunk on Halloween. I wasn't going to be the sober one and drive them all home. I had at least three hours to go home, get dressed after handing out candy and head down to the office for Andrew's Halloween/birthday party. I decided to go as demon Dean from Supernatural this year. I've planned it out since last Halloween. I must have spent over a hundred dollars on make-up and special effects for the make-up for my costume. Bloody and bruised face, blood spatters on my clothes, deep cuts on my face on my arms , the Mark of Cain on my right arm and tattered clothes to make it look realistic. Even had the First Blade too. My brother Jared is going to go as Sam, Deans brother and my cousin Gabriel, to go as Castiel, the angel. We all had the outfits right on point. I was excited and a bit nervous at the thought, but I shook it off as I opened the door to my car and slid in. I checked the back seat for anyone or anything. Then I got out, kneeled to the ground and shined my light underneath my car to see if there was anything underneath it. Then I checked the tail pipe. Clean. Good. I got back in, started up my 2013 Nissan Maxima and drove off.

I turned the station over to my phone to listen to my music. I wasn't going to be bored to death by the radio of how kids is going to be doing things on Halloween. Mostly, it isn't kids. It's the adults. I just shook my head of how adults can be so immature then blame it on the kids. This is what I have to put up with in my neighborhood.

It was a 45 minute drive from Dino's Bar and Grill to Drexel Avenue. The road was busy. The stores was still open and houses were light up, showing the decorations of Halloween. My favorite holiday of the year. Couldn't wait to see how Jared and Gabriel is going to look in their costumes as well.

After about 40 minutes, I made it home faster than usual. Jared and Gabriel's cars weren't in the driveway. Must be getting some stuff from Wal-Mart. I swung the door open and got out and jogged to the door and unlocked it. I flipped the Halloween lights on, set everything up on the porch and ran back inside to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I dried off and grabbed the box labeled, "Cinema Secrets" that had all my make-up for my outfit. I laid out my outfit and splattered fake blood on the pants, boots, and shirts. Then I tore some holes into my shirts and a few in my pants then got into costume. I poured some blood on the First Blade and laid wet part on the bathroom counter over the trash can. I started putting the make-up on my face. I needed to put on a fake scruff. And with the help of Cinema Secrets and some hairspray and mascara, I had a mans scruff on my face. Then I needed to fill in my cheek bones with the skin tone. After all that, I looked like Dean Winchester with long hair.
