Thinking Out Loud

The atmosphere was heavy. Almost romantic, which was not a regular occurrence in the Moran-Moriarty household. The walls glowed with a rosy, flickering hue, and stars littered the sky through the huge windows in front of them.

It was quiet, both content in the company of one another's heartbeats, curled up against each other on the sofa. It was peaceful, relaxing for once compared to the chaos that usually ensued here, which was not unusual really, with the forces of nature that occupied the place.

They had been here for around an hour, just taking a break from work, from life, before Sebastian shifted, lifting Jim up and off him slightly, and standing from the sofa. Jim looked up at him in confusion

"What are you doing?"

Sebastian only grinned, holding up a finger for him to wait a second before walking over to the corner of the room, typing and clicking on the laptop before turning back to Jim, still with a huge grin on his face.

The strumming of a guitar filled the space between them, and Sebastian took steps back towards Jim. He held his hand out to him, looking down at him with a fond grin, eyes crinkling at the corners, asking a silent question;

Dance with me?

Nothing needed to be said as Jim blinked, gazing up at him with a curious eye before taking his hand, letting himself be pulled up from the sofa.

Maybe just the touch of a hand?

Sebastian pulled on his hand and led him to the centre of the living room, the open space between the parallel sofa's proving to be the perfect amount.

He pulled Jim in front of him, smiling down at him with a loving gaze as he wrapped his arm around Jim's waist, and letting his gaze shift to their hands as he slowly pulled them up, stretched out and fingers interlacing with eachother.

Baby now, take me into your loving arms

He looked back down to Jim before swaying their bodies together, his smile stretching across his face, eyes crinkling at the corners as they always did when he smiled, when he truly smiled.

Jim never took his eyes off of Sebastians face, taking in every detail of this moment in amazement, and he was mesmerised by Seb's expression, heart skipping a beat. Sebastian never failed to surprise him, always with something pleasant, and he couldn't ask for better than this, not at this moment.

He blinked as Sebastian smiled down at him, so happy, so loving . No-one had ever looked at him like that before, and it made his breath hitch, becoming dizzy before a smile was sent back up at his partner.

The whole scene was cliché, the atmosphere, the dancing, the love, but neither cared at this moment, everything so serene, so peaceful as they danced together, so randomly in the centre of the living room.

They had not taken their eyes from each other, and only when Jim turned his head to lay it on Seb's chest did they break eye contact, Jim sighing in quiet contentment

Place your head on my beating heart

They swayed together for a while, Jims head on Sebastians chest before he looked up, and as they looked to each other, Seb gave a kind smile down to him, reserved only for Jim.

His gaze flickered down to his lips, the perfect atmosphere, and they both leaned forward, pressing their lips together in the glowing light of the night sky, the flickering of the candles projecting it's rosy hue across the walls, and the burn of the heat setting their cheeks on fire.

Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars

It was only soft, and slow, and loving before they pulled away, and Sebastian leaned his forehead against Jim's, eyes closing as he smiled. Both of his arms were wrapped around Jim's waist now, and in the midst of their affection, Jim had moved his arms up to wrap around Sebastians neck, still swaying together slowly. They were both smiling, Jim looking up at him as Seb rested his forehead against his own, and after a few silent moments, Sebastian muttered over the melody

"I love you"

Jim's pupils were dilated, black filling the dark chocolate brown, and his smile widened slightly with the declaration,

"I love you too, Tiger"

Help me, I was listening to 'Thinking Out Loud' on the bus today and couldn't help imagining Jim and Seb dancing together to this and I...cried on a bus full of people and I just couldn't help myself and help. I am also sorry that it is so short xD Seriously though, I need help with the intensity of the MorMor feels
