Jeong Yunho left his home and everything he'd ever known. At 24 years old, he was yet to present and life under his Uncle's thumb was getting worse as the years went on. Yunho knew he had to get as far away as possible. When he found himself in the...

Yunho had gotten used to enjoying a full night’s rest. His body felt much lighter each day after waking up fully rested and refreshed. He’d been eating a lot better, too. Which he hadn’t realized was an issue until the Pack he now lived with insisted that he eat meals with them most of the time.
Doctor Park had been concerned about his weight and was happy to see he was looking more and more healthy each day. Part of his lack of appetite was due to stress and likely a side effect of being on the presentation blockers for so long. Yunho had once again felt lost as he lay in bed the night before. Luckily, he wasn’t plagued by bad dreams and managed to sleep well.
Soft voices interrupted Yunho’s half-awake musings. He wasn’t quite sure if he was dreaming or not but remained still with his eyes closed as he listened. He could smell the faint traces of a spring garden and citrus. Yunho tried to recall if he left the window open the night before or not. He heard giggling next and decided he wasn’t dreaming.
“Should we wake him?” Wooyoung’s now familiar voice whispered just a little too loud.
“That’s why we came, isn’t it?” Yeosang responded.
Both of them sounded like they were close to Yunho’s head. He hadn’t heard them come in but then again the mansion was well maintained. Not a single floorboard or door creaked. At least, not that he’d found yet. Hongjoong was serious about giving his Pack the best he possibly could.
“You should wake him. He likes you more.” Wooyoung encouraged.
“What? No way. No he doesn’t.” Yeosang denied.
The two were failing miserably at keeping quiet but Yunho found it oddly endearing that they were arguing over who would wake him up when he was already awake. He felt a little bad faking it at this point but was also curious as to what they would do. Yunho breathed in deeply and their bickering halted as he assumed they watched him for signs of waking up. It took everything in Yunho’s power not to make a face. He turned so he was facing away from them, just in case and pretended to still be asleep.
“You wake him.”
“No you. Hongjoong wants to leave soon.”
“Ugh, fine. But if he gets mad, I’m blaming you.” Wooyoung’s pout was obvious in his voice.
Yunho bit his lower lip to keep from making any noise as he felt Wooyoung get closer to the bed. He could sense him hesitating and realized this was the first time he and Yeosang were seeing what Yunho was like first thing in the morning. Usually, only Mingi had witnessed it. Thankfully, Yunho was more of a morning person than the Pack seemed to be. He felt a hand lay on his shoulder and timidly shake him once.
“You two aren’t as quiet as you think you are, you know.” Yunho couldn’t help but tease.
Wooyoung yanked his hand back. “You’ve been awake this whole time?!”
