Jeong Yunho left his home and everything he'd ever known. At 24 years old, he was yet to present and life under his Uncle's thumb was getting worse as the years went on. Yunho knew he had to get as far away as possible. When he found himself in the...

It had been two days since Yunho saw any members of the Pack. At first, he wasn’t quite sure what to do with himself. He organized his new clothes and other items three times before he ventured out of his room. The maids explained to him that the Pack didn’t usually leave their bedroom during a cycle and that he was free to roam the mansion like usual.
Yunho spent time getting to know the mansion’s layout bit by bit to pass the time. Sometimes, he would go back to admire the paintings Hongjoong had done of each Pack member in the dining room. Each time, he noticed more details. His heart ached at seeing the Pack being loved in such a way. He couldn’t help but wonder what it would have been like if his parents hadn’t passed when he was so young. To be raised in such a way that he knew what love was. But then, Yunho found himself growing sad at the thought that he never would have met the people here in the mansion if that were the case.
Each of them, except Hongjoong in the beginning, had accepted Yunho right away. But even then, Yunho understood Hongjoong’s hesitance. The mere fact he’d even allowed him to stay in their home while the Omegas were in heat meant a lot about Hongjoong’s character. And now, the Head Alpha was worried about Yunho and making sure he was taken care of during the two days Wooyoung was in his rut.
The maids that morning brought a larger breakfast and told Yunho that Master Hongjoong insisted on it. Yunho ate what he could with a grateful smile then kept the fruit and rolls for later. Some of which were in a small basket at his side as he sat in the shade of a tree in the garden. He had the small bundle of books Hongjoong had given to him. The lavender sprig sat on top of two books while Yunho read the third. He found the story intriguing as it followed a group of ragtag pirates in search of treasure. The air was peaceful and Yunho enjoyed his solitude, even if he missed the interactions of the various Pack members. He didn’t mind it too much, knowing it wouldn’t last for long.
Yunho was halfway through his book before his stomach growled. He set it down for a moment and plucked a fresh apple from the basket. He rubbed the red surface against his shirt then took a bite. He hummed at the delicious taste and wiped at a trail of juice that dripped down his chin. He was constantly surprised by the things he found in this place. It was so much more lively and beautiful than his old home in Illudere.
“Is it really that good?”
Yunho startled at the sudden voice and nearly dropped his book and apple. He gripped the fruit a little tighter and squeezed some of the juice out. It dripped over his fingers from the place he’d bitten it. A soft giggle followed his action and Yunho turned to find Yeosang watching him. He nearly choked at the sight of various bitemarks and bruises that littered his throat. Yeosang’s eyes widened and he quickly moved to squat down next to him and pat his back.
“S-sorry.” Yunho coughed before he forced himself to finish his bite and swallow it down. He set his apple down on a small napkin then looked up at Yeosang again.
The Omega was glowing. Not just from the sunlight that haloed his golden hair, but from the serene calmness on his face. Yeosang tilted his head and sank down to sit beside Yunho once he knew the other was going to be okay. Yeosang sighed softly and stretched his legs out on the grass. Yunho could smell faint traces of the Pack on Yeosang’s clothes but was able to pick out a distinctly lavender scent that made his cheeks turn rosy.
