Mufasa and Taka were growing up. Their mane growth started to grow bigger. Ahadi had a hard choice to make. There were two sons, but only one could be king. This thought was on Ahadi's mind for months. He didn't sleeping , he didn't eat, and he paced in front of the cave entrance. Uru was starting to get worried.
"Ahadi! Boys! Dinner time!" Called Uru. Ahadi lumbered slowly into the cave, and took his place in the circle around the meat. Mufasa and Taka dug in, an Uru ate slow and ladylike. But Ahadi just stared. Mufasa looked up. "Are you OK dad?" He asked, worried. Ahadi snapped out of it. "Yes, son. I'm ok. There's just a lot on my mind right now."
After dinner. Uru asked for her and Ahadi to talk outside. "I know you have to choose one, but you have to do it soon, while they're still young. You can't just pace forever." Ahadi snarled. "You don't think I'm under enough pressure? I don't want to disappoint one of them." Uru sighed. "I know it's hard being king and a good father. But you have to choose soon. I'm sure the boys will understand, whatever you decide." Ahadi nodded. "You're right, dear." "In all your pacing and starving yourself, have you at least given some thought about a permanent choice?"
Ahadi nodded again. "Yes. I think I know."
