This will be kind of a short chapter
Ahadi called the whole family to the center of their den. Mufasa, Taka, and Uru stood in a line in front of the pacing Ahadi. "I have an announcement." He said nervously. "After giving it a ton of thought, I think I know who I will choose to be my heir."
Taka gulped. Oh how he wanted it so bad. In every friendship, every brotherhood, there were flaws. Taka and Mufasa's relationship was no different. Being the youngest, he was always in the shadow of his older brother. His father always showed favoritism toward Mufasa, barely paying attention to him anymore. If he was named heir, maybe his father would pay more attention to him, and he wouldn't be in his brother's shadow anymore.
Ahadi cleared his throat. "Mufasa." Mufasa came forward.
"You will be king."
