hey gang its been a long while and i decided to pick up writing so yay! i wasnt given much so ill make the ideas

Summary: im sure most of you know the song "Did I mention" from the descendants movie so basically itll be based off the scene. Where Kayla slowly starts to catch feelings for Bianca and like the apollo kid she is, obviously Kayla's gotta serenade and confess to her at the campfire. Kayla's been planning this for months,  she even got Nico on the plan (by basically luring his sister out blah blah blah). She knew Bianca's favourite movies are from the descendants series so she decided to watch all of them (the dedication girl my adhd ass could never) in one sitting and decide on a song she'd serenade her with.

Kayla's PoV

I always look at the love Will and Nico share. They might contrast, sure, but it's truly maddening love. I envy it often times, not Will or Nico, I envy their love. Often times, I sit down on my bed, not as cheery and bright as any other child of Apollo, and wondered, "when will it be my turn?". I thought I'd never know the answer.

Well.. That was until I found Bianca. Actually (in her words), I more of picked her up from the litter and took her along with me. It might sound like we're dating, but we're not. I want us to, but like actually I don't know if she wants the same. Hence why I'm trying to take it slow (keyword: trying). But oh my.. how can this girl be any more oblivious than she actually is?

So at this point, I gave up being subtle. Instead I'm planning to serenade her with one of the songs from her favourite movie series, Descendants. 

I watched.. the 3 movies (not the 4th cause I was exhausted) in one sitting.. Safe to say, I will NEVER do that ever again. But I did find a song that's somewhat cheesy and totally perfect for this occasion, like perfect perfect, it is totally suitable to confess in such a cheesy way. 

Since that fabulous idea was like what's the word? No idea but you get me right? That was a fantastic idea, now I just need to get someone to bring her out for me during the campfire...

Will Solace prepare to meet your doom (if you do not agree) or something that'll make your boyfriend happy that his sister (might be) happy!

Wait that isn't exactly grammatically correct.. whatever.

Hence is how I ended up next to a hunched up Nico and a bright Will. Nico may or may not have been forced here but who cares this is all for his boyfriend, and sister. I had negotiated with Nico to get him a McDonalds happy meal because of the... Minecraft toy? What's a Minecraft?

Oh whatever, he said he'll lure Bianca out — not lure but like bring her out — to the campfire the next night, as even though I am a child of Apollo (the literal God of music) who should be born with a natural talent of music, it was 5pm already, no way I was going to be able to learn the song within that short amount of time. Now, some of you may think.. "Kayla, why can't Bianca go out by herself? Does she not show up to the campfire?", and to answer your question, she doesn't. She prefers spending her time inside the cabin lounging around, exploring out, or playing Mythomagic.
