Avie's POV.

'Do what makes you happy.' The words Landon said keep ringing in my ears. When was the last time I even did something for myself? I can't even remember anymore. I watch as their car drive away waving at Lily who smiled back.

"Landon's a good man." Eiffer said and I looked over at him surprised that he was complimenting Landon. Then I remembered, they were all together this morning, they probably got along well. Landon's never hard to be comfortable with once you get to know him. I smiled and nodded my head.

"Yeah, he is." I said and turned to sit back as he takes the one in front of me so we were face to face. There goes a round of staring, gazing and whatever you call it. Stuck in his gaze and butterflies in my tummy and our hearts beating.

I took a breath to take control of myself before opening up a subject.

"I heard about Emily." I said.

"I assured Landon, you and Dolly won't be harmed. She's ordered to stay away from you." He said and I just nodded.

"How's your pack coping up? How are you coping up? " I asked and he shrugged.

"I'm fine, the pack is all but happy about her stepping down, they don't care much about not having a luna, they rather even have none than her. You knew about it, why did you tell it that day?" he asked and I decided not to lie about it.

"I knew since Dolly worked for me. I told you that day cause I saw her outside the house, standing beside those lawyers car and I knew she was the one who blabbered about Lily and it was the spur of the moment, so I told the wolves."

"I'm sorry if it affected your relationship" I said knowing that even his business got dragged along. I look at him and he shrugged and smiled.

"It did but its not your fault. Business tripped down but thanks to Landon, I got a big break and made out a big deal. He referred me to this big time Russian business man and I'm scheduled for a presentation tomorrow so I hope it goes well." He said and I nodded. I know about the Russian guy, landon told me about him but I didn't think he'd consider Eiffer.

Not wanting to ruin this moment, I push all worries behind. I want this time to be about me and what makes me happy and being with him is what makes me happy.

I sighed and thought for awhile.

"You bored ?"

" Nah, I just don't wanna think about anything right now. I just wanna live for the day."

"What do you have in mind?" He asked seemingly up for anything at the moment.

"I don't know. Hmmm, I wanna go on a roller coaster ride, scream when I'm on top, conquer my fear of heights. I wanna learn how to ride a bike or how to roller blade. Today I wanna go on a joy ride, just go anywhere but here." I said and he thought about it for a second before he stood up and offered his hand.
