Surprise POV
Five minutes earlier.....
"You sure you're okay?"
"I'm fine." I said. "Thanks for asking." I walked out of the hospital-like building and stepped out on the hot sand. Ah, so good to feel the sun burn my face. I walked along the beach for a stroll, finding a starfish that seemed alive. I threw it back at the deep blue sea, giving it another chance at life.I'm a hero. I thought to myself.
I chuckled as I walked towards Rondor Resort. I checked in by the receptionist and she started typing away. Her eyes widened. "Weren't you-?"
"Yes. I know." I grinned. I walked up the painfully high stairs and came to my room.Ah, home away from sweet home.
As I put my hand on the knob and heard shouting. I frowned, wondering why the residents were arguing. I put my ear on the door, trying to hear what they were saying.
"-my grandmother."Why are they arguing about someone's grandmother. I listened again. "-I'm a murderer."
What the hell?
I had to open the door. I turned the knob, but it was a bit stuck. I heard the conversation die as I twisted the knob more. Finally, the knob turned and I opened the door. Something hurled at my face and I fell back, holding my face that was in pain.
"Oh my God!" Jessica screeched.
"No way!" Maxwell said.
"Hey everyone." I, Chad Newman, said.Woot, woot! Guess who's back? Chad is! Ah, so good to be back, right Chad? Anyway, what do you think? I feel like I'm going to get comments about Chad's fantasy resurrection. Guys, Chad was not in anyway, resurrected in a fantasy way. If you want to find out what happened to him, read the next chapter, if you dare ;)
