Snow
I watched my step mother in the shop, she was different, something was off with her. She nearly cried at the loft, her face seemed fuller, different from the sunken build. Her whole body just seemed... healthy. Her gentle demeanor towards Belle shocked me too, a month ago she would have stormed in here and demanded all of the information out of her for the sake of her son. As we left the shop I watched her ramble on about how we were to get his memories back but all I could focus on was discovering what made her seem so different. "Hello! Snow are you even listening or are you going to keep staring at me?" She said giving me a strange look, I nodded then looked at David who was flipping through one of Regina's books that he brought with him. "Yep. All it says is an act of true love!" He exclaimed, she sighed in defeat then scooted closer to Robin who was awaiting her with open arms. "Well Robin could be up to something, he could be remembering something! Did you even ask him?" I said to her, she bit her lip and shook her head. "Well what am I suppose to say! Do you remember living here for ten years now!" She exclaimed, her sarcastic outburst not fooling me, she wanted to cry and it showed in her eyes. "Why don't you go and ask, I will go with you and Robin and David can look for that special potion." I said giving David a look, he immediately understood and started walking towards the loft. Regina glared at me then kissed Robin before he left.
We walked silently until I decided I could ask her. "So! You're pregnant!" I said, trying to contain my smile, her eyes grew and she crossed her arms over her chest, she whipped her head over to me, her evil look staring into my soul. She grabbed my arm and pulled me behind a shop. "Did Robin tell you! I'm going to kill him!" She spat, I shook my head and smiled, her grip didn't loosen, and she was expecting an explanation. "You can tell." I said looking down at her torso, her expression turned nervous, looking down at her body. "What!" She said pulling her jacket tighter around her middle. "Regina, you have a human growing inside of you. You have a bump." I said simply, she looked appalled, I shrugged and then walked back out to the street, she followed me and crossed her arms again, paranoid that others would find out. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." I said smugly, she scoffed and then flipped her hair back. "This seems vaguely familiar?" She teased, I rolled my eyes and then continued walking. "Regina." I said rolling my eyes, trying to avoid that part of our lives. She smiled then nudged me with her shoulder, finally relaxing.
Regina
Snow White now knew I was pregnant. Great. She was an adult, she wouldn't betray me, plus, my mother was dead, I was constantly reminding myself, plus she was my best friend. I unlocked the door to my house and found Henry holding his storybook, staring at it intently, a concentrated look on his face. "Henry, where did you get that?" I mumbled, dropping my keys into the bowl before rushing over to him. "Oh in Roland's room, I uh- I'm sorry I will put it back!" He said closing it, I stopped him and ran my fingers over the cover. "No, that's okay. You can have it actually, Roland doesn't use it and it looks like you are enjoying it." I said smiling, he looked up at me shocked then handed it to me. "I couldn't take it, it's your son's! Really it's fine, thank you." He said handing it to me, I shook my head and placed it in his hands. "I insist. I want it to be put to good use." He smiled then took it. "Thank you." He leaned in and gave me a hug, I had to control myself and avoid running my hands through his thick curls, or placing a kiss on his forehead. I had to physically restrain myself from showing my son love.
"Are you hungry? I make Roland macaroni and cheese, would you like some too?" I lied, Henry always requested the meal, it was his absolute favorite and I was hoping at least that would spark something inside of him. "Well if you're making it for your son Roland, I guess I wouldn't mind some, thank you." He said politely, I smiled, happy to finally do something normal with my son, I was pleased to see that even though she didn't raise him, in this false life Emma taught him manners.
"Thank you so much." He said taking the plate from me, Snow was washing up in the kitchen while I sat across from my son. "Aren't you going to eat?" He asked gently, immediately putting his fork down. "Oh no, I'm fine." I said, the smell of the cheese making my stomach churn. "But doesn't the baby need food?" He asked, genuinely concerned. "Wha- How?" I started, his face turned nervous and his eyes grew. "Robin told me, plus you can tell." He said plainly, I settled back into the chair and grumbled at the remark, my hands holding my stomach as I leaned forward.
I was about to ask if he remembered anything when Henry opened his mouth to speak. "Regina, have we met before? You just seem... familiar." He said setting his fork down on the table, I stumbled on my words and then realized what was happening. Things were becoming familiar to him. "Your mother would visit Storybrooke when you were a baby and I would watch you sometimes." I lied, my mind being taken back to the small baby boy whom the whole town adored, but who I loved with all of my heart. "Oh, it's just everything seems so familiar, and I couldn't put my finger on it, well now that makes sense." He said finishing his food, I just smiled and nodded, he returned one and then took his plate into the kitchen and started washing it, neatly placing it in the cabinet. "I'm glad my mom asked if I could stay with you, I really enjoy spending time here with you and Robin." He said giving me his signature smile, I returned one then gave him a hug, this time he didn't pull away in confusion or give me a strange look, he hugged me back then ran upstairs.

I finished washing the dishes and sat down at the counter, I went to grab something when I cut my hand. "God! Ow!" I started rummaging through the drawers for a bandage when I found my baby book that I had read while I was pregnant with Neal, post its were sticking out of the sides with large exclamation points on the papers. I chuckled and flipped through the book, lots of circles around chapters about delivery. "He's remembering!" Regina said running into the kitchen, I slammed the book shut and put it into the drawer. "Really! What did he say!" I exclaimed, she came over and picked up his storybook, staring at it for a while. "He says I'm familiar to him, like he's seen me before." She smiled, the hope returning to her eyes, she ran over to me and embraced me, the excitement made her arms shake. "See! We told you! You need to have hope Regina, we will get the old Henry back!" I urged, she nodded and then set the book down. "Now tell me Regina, why do you have my baby book?" Her eyes widened and she averted her eyes from me. "Don't tell anyone." She muttered, and for the first time in my whole life, I saw an expression cross my stepmother's face that I have never seen her express. Embarrassment.
"Now why would I do that?"
