When I was sure both of the boys were asleep, I slipped out of bed and pulled on my pants and boots, wrapping my thick black coat around me, running down the stairs. My magic was flickering and I didn't know if it would work, but I needed to go and get Henry, I was his only hope.

Henry

Belle was bloodied and raw, her wails coming out weaker and weaker as he tortured her, the deep cuts on her torso spewed blood and water, and the electric machine she was hooked up to shocked her in between lashes and rakes against her skin. "STOP!" I finally screamed as he took out chains and hooks, Mr. Gold spun around, his eyes crazed from his torturing. "What?" He shrilled, the whip dropping her blood on my pants. "If you want to torture someone, torture me!" I yelled, Belle groaned and shook her head at me, but I ignored her. "Fine. I will do both!" He said making a stake appear next to hers. He dragged me over and ripped off my shirt, tossing it next to Belle's clothes, the took the hook that was attached to the whip and flung his arm back, tearing away at my skin on my chest. I yelped but tried to refrain from yelling, to spite him from his joy. "You think silence is bravery? I think it's stupid."

I ran into the shop where Henry's jacket led me, stopping at the bookcase that stood crookedly, a cold draft shooting through the cracks. "I'm coming Henry." I whispered, jogging down the pathway, I stopped when I heard a screaming down the left path. I sprinted as fast as my legs could carry me, the sound of bloody murder being screamed down the corridor. I slammed the door open and nearly collapsed.

"STAY AWAY FROM MY SON!" I screamed, all of the love and protectiveness I held towards him shot out of me and knocked Rumple away, he disappeared in a cloud of purple smoke, leaving me in the room with Henry and Belle. She was unconscious and hanging from the pole, her wrists raw from the rope tied around them. Her temples were bleeding from the electrocution stickers, and her body was bloody and beaten. Henry was still conscious, his temples also bleeding, both of their clothing were thrown in a pile on the floor, their skin freezing. I cut Henry down and caught his limp body, unable to hold himself up. "You're my mom?" He groaned, the stickers pulling at his raw skin. I pulled them off and gently laid him on the stone, moving to Belle, I cut her down and removed her stickers, she yelped when she fell into me, their cuts staining my clothes. I gingerly scooted her over next to Henry and pulled out my phone and dialed 9-1-1.

"9-1-1 What's your emergency?" David groaned, with Emma gone he worked the night shifts too. "David I'm in a secret vault in Gold's shop! I need two ambulances, Gold took Belle and Henry! This is an EMERGENCY! Get over here!" I yelled into the phone, he calmed me down and told me he was coming. "You're my mom?" Henry croaked, I gently lifted him into my lap and stroked his bruised cheek, this was my worst nightmare coming true, my son was suffering and I couldn't help him. "Yes. I'm your mom." I replied, a tear falling down my cheek, I didn't move, any movement made him wince in agony. "Henry I know you don't remember me but I love you so much, and I will never leave your side." I said to him, his blood soaking my clothes. Suddenly an aura shot out of him, which made him gasp back. "Mom?" He whispered, his eyes rolling back, he fell limp in my arms, his breathing uneven and shallow.

"Regina! You scared me half to death don't-" I cut him off and shook my son. "Yell at me later about this! He's unconscious! HENRY PLEASE WAKE UP! PLEASE I JUST GOT YOU BACK!" I shrieked, kissing his face repeatedly, hoping that a curse magically fell on him and my love would bring him back. I was now covered in his blood, my clothes were soaked in it and my hair and face were caked with the Crimson liquid. Belle and Henry were both ghostly white, the blood draining from them. "Help me!" I sobbed towards Robin, who lifted Henry from my arms and ran out of the cave, the sound of the paramedics coming down the hallway made me breathe a tad bit easier. I took off my jacket and swaddled Belle in it, afraid that her clothes would hurt her, trying to give her some dignity when these paramedics handled her unconscious body. She whimpered and tried to move, I lifted the small girl into my lap and waited for the paramedics to come. The minutes passing like lifetimes.

"What do we have!" One yelled running in with the gurney, they pulled the stretcher off and strapped her on, lifting her onto the cart. "Madame Mayor stand back please." A man said, gently moving me out of the way, I chased behind them and got to the two ambulances, climbing in the one with Henry, a young paramedic worked on him, she was pushing on his chest, inserting needles and pounding on my son, I wanted to look away but I couldn't, I had to be strong for my son, for my Henry.

"Teresa get the paddles!" A male paramedic said from the driver's seat, she took out a set of paddles and had him power the machine up, rubbing the gel in between them. "Clear!" She yelled, shocking my son, I jumped as she tried again, this time the monitor showed some action, the monotone beeping subsided. "Okay. Let's get him to trauma one, Zambrano can fix them." She said moving off of him, bandaging his torso up. I reached over and grabbed his hand, wanting him to know that he wasn't alone, that I would never leave him.

They stopped and rushed him inside, the nurse holding me back while I struggled to be with him, his screams filling the air, Belle rushed by with Robin, I felt alone, they continued working on him and the screaming continued, I  crumpled to the floor and dropped my face in my hands, unable to listen to his unbearable screaming. But I couldn't leave him, if they denied me the option to be with him then I would stand here until he finished. "MOM!" I heard him yell, I wanted to run in there, my natural instinct telling me to go comfort my son and destroy those who inflicted pain on him, but the two nurses refused, the male one blocking the entrance. I tried to get through but they were too large. I couldn't take it, his yelling made me break, tears started falling down my face, and I could barely breathe because of the shuddering my lungs were doing. I felt arms come around me, but I was confused, Robin was able to stay with Belle, I told him to.

"Regina I'm here, he will be okay." Snow said hanging on to me. I gripped her wrist and held onto her while another one of Henry's high pitched screams filled the air. She took out a tissue and wiped my tears out from under my eyes, understanding what it felt like to watch your child be in pain, and physically not being able to help.

The doctor came out and walked over to me, she was my height and build with similar hair as me. "Are you Ms. Mills?" She asked holding her hand out, I nodded and took her hand, anxious to hear about my son's condition. "Henry?" I said quickly, she nodded and motioned for us to sit down. "His injuries were extensive, especially his skin injuries on his back and torso, we had to do extensive stitching and the anesthetic wasn't strong enough, he was in too much pain to let it work and we couldn't overdose him because that would be catastrophic. He was given morphine and moved to a room upstairs that I can take you to. She said helping me up and out of my seat.

"Henry? Oh my god." I whispered, he rolled his head to the side and gave me a weak smile. "Hi mom." He moaned, I rushed over to him and kissed his face, thanking God that he wasn't taken from me forever. "My little boy. Oh my god you're okay." I shuddered, my tears wetting his face. He reached up and took my hand, his face turning serious. "I'm sorry mom. I'm sorry that I was acting like an idiot, and even when I did you still took me in and loved me?" He questioned, his heart rate picking up. "Henry Daniel Mills, until the day I die you will be my son and I will always love you, protect you, and care for you, no matter what you do. I will be your mother regardless of your deeds and I want you to know that I mean it when I say that I will do anything for you. I love you so much and I don't ever want you to think otherwise." I said crying, he reached out and hugged me despite his injuries. "And I love you too mom." He whispered, I smiled and planted a kiss on his forehead, settling into the chair next to him.

Robin

I stood in the room for a while and watched Regina sit with her son, her bedside vigil going on hour four. "How is he?" I quietly asked, she jumped at my voice and spun around ready to throw a fireball at me, I gave a half hearted smile and moved towards her. "I'm sorry I left. Something didn't feel right." She said softly, I moved in front of her and squatted so I could cup her face. "Hey, that doesn't matter. The only thing that I care about is your son's health." I said wiping a tear away, she tapped her head against mine and gave me a gentle kiss. "He's going to be okay." She whispered, taking his hand and kissing it. "Yes he will be, he has your heart. Strong and resilient."
