Henry

The pain on my chest and back started to come back, notifying me that my morphine was wearing off, I groaned and then felt my mother's warm hand gently cup mine. "Honey? Are you okay?" She muttered, the fluorescent light bringing out the circles under her eyes. "Mom, go to sleep, you've been awake all night." I insisted, she just shook her head and pressed the nurses button. "The baby..." I moaned, she just shook her head again and returned to her chair. Her clothes were soaked with blood from Belle and I, and her face and hair were splattered with it also. When she turned away I grabbed my phone that was sitting on the table, texting Robin.

Can you please pick up my mom, she's been here all night and hasn't slept at all. I'm worried about her.

She saw me then ran over to the bed and took the phone. "Henry! I do not need to be taken care of, I'm your mother and I am here to take care of you!" She scowled, placing my phone in her pocket, I mustered up some strength and reached out for her hand, she immediately took it and smiled at me. "I know, but you're pregnant. And you have to think about my little brother or sister in there, they want you to take a nap and eat a burger. I'm not going anywhere, plus, I think a little time with my soon to be stepfather is good." I said giving her a smile, she pursed her lips in defeat and picked up her coat from the chair, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. "I will be back soon." She said sternly, I just squeezed her hand and then let go, allowing her to leave.

Regina

I threw myself on my bed exhausted, peeling the bloody clothes off of me and tossing them in the hamper, my muscles sore from lifting my grown son and his grandmother. I rubbed my hands up and down my stomach, the bump reminding me that I needed this rest.

I turned on the shower head and scrubbed the blood off of me, washing away the horror of the early morning's incidents. I got out and heard my phone ring, the calendar app reminding me that I have a doctor's appointment. "Crap!" I exclaimed, tossing my phone on the bed. I then picked it up and dialed Robin's number, asking him to give it to Henry.

"Hello my little prince. I have a doctor's appointment but I just wanted to tell you that I won't be late, I'm calling to cancel it and I will be bringing you your favorite ice cream." I said trying to lighten his mood, he chuckled on the other side and then sighed. "No mom, go to your appointment, Robin texted Snow and she can go with you, we are having a really nice conversation and we can finish it! Let us know how it goes okay mom?" I smiled and agreed, hanging up.

"Regina! Let's go!" Snow yelled from downstairs, I slowly made my way down the stairs, feeling tired and upset over the whole ordeal. "Okay let's go." I said adjusting my tan sweater over my bump, Snow came up to me and placed her hand on my stomach, giggling at the curvature in my body. "So exciting!" She said dancing out to the car, I rolled my eyes and groaned. "Of course this is my stepdaughter." I moaned, as she bounced eagerly by the car.

"Ms. Mills, the doctor will see you now." The nurse instructed, slightly trembling as I walked past her, apparently I still intimidated some people.

"Isn't Dr. Zambrano a trauma surgeon? She fixed Henry!" I said to Snow, she looked up from her magazine and shrugged. "I had Dr. Frankenstein deliver one of my babies and a dwarf deliver the other. I think you're good." She said sarcastically, I rolled my eyes and sat back, the doctor's always frightened me, they would come and do procedures on my father, his horrible sounds of agony still rang in my ears today. "Relax Regina, the most you have to deal with today is some cold jelly." Snow remarked, standing up and sitting beside me.

"Hello Regina I'm sorry I took so long! Let's check on your little one!" Dr. Zambrano said rushing into the room, moving the machine over to me. I lifted my shirt and braced myself for the cool gel, she turned on the machine and my uterus came up on the screen. "Woah." Snow said, I smiled and teared up, leaning my head on the table. "They look good, do you want to hear the babies' heartbeats?" She said moving the wand around. My blood turned cold and I sat up frazzled at what she just said. "What do you mean babies?" I said staring at her intensely. "You're having twins Regina."

Snow White

My eyes grew when she said the word. Twins. I moved closer and leaned on the table. "So there are two babies inside of me?" Regina whispered, moving her hands to touch her stomach, but she refrained and held her hand out to me, I grasped it and remained silent as she waved the wand around, pointing to the two babies. "Yep Regina, those are definitely two babies in there. Two human beings." I mumbled, she took a shaky breath and squeezed my hand. "I'm going to be a mommy to two babies. In one day." She mumbled, I nodded and lowered down so I was eye level with her. "I guess so." I said giggling, her expression lightened up and she smiled, tears filling her eyes. "I'm going to be a mommy again." She cried, taking the printed picture from the doctor. "Yes you are." I said sitting next to her, she laughed and pulled her sweater down, carefully holding the picture, pressing her hands against her stomach. "Here, feel!" She said grabbing my hand and pressing it on the spot on her stomach, laughing at me. "That's amazing!" I giggled, feeling the small babies inside of her.

I skipped into the hospital and made my way quickly into the room. "Hello Henry, Robin." I said leaning over and kissing my son on the forehead. "How was the appointment?" Robin asked drawing me into his lap. I smiled and started to take the sonogram out of my purse when the nurses came in and pulled me out of the room. "It's Ms. French!" They yelled, dragging me into the lobby. A team ran by with a crash cart into her room and then a commotion started coming out of it. "Belle?" I muttered, rushing inside. "The electrocution stopped her heart!" They said ripping her gown off, shocking her chest, her body twitched and arched off of the bed. I covered my mouth to avoid screaming, the horrid memories of being strapped to a table and being tortured came flooding back to me. "We have a pulse." Dr. Zambrano said sighing in relief, bandaging her torso, hooking her up to machines and oxygen.

"Belle." I muttered, walking over to her. "She's in a coma. She will come out of it soon." The doctor whispered, leaving me in the room with her. I stumbled towards her bed and rubbed her hand, trying to comfort her without causing more damage to her wounds. "We are going to get you better. Okay?" I whispered, moving her hair behind her ear, trying to give her assurance even in her comatose state.

"What did you want to tell me love?" Robin asked, setting me in his lap, running his hands up and down my stomach. "Oh, I just wanted you to know that-" "Mom?" Henry groaned, opening his eyes, Robin helped me up and walked me to the bed. "Yes sweetheart?" I said brushing my hand against his forehead, he winced and then shifted in his bed. "It hurts." He complained, I sighed and sat back down. "I know Henry, but they can't give you too much pain medication, the morphine was only for a little while, now it's the medicine." I said quietly, I saw a tear run down his cheek and him grimace in pain, my heart broke, I wanted to take his horrible agony away and contain it myself. "Mom? Can you lay with me?" He whimpered, more tears falling. "Of course."

Robin helped me up and I gently embraced my son, he curled into me and I could feel him groaning in pain, his tears dampening my shirt. "Look at me Henry." I instructed, lifting his head so he was looking at me. "You are going to be as good as new. I can promise you that." I said moving his hair out of his face, he nodded and then drifted back to sleep.

I felt someone's hands move around my side and over to my stomach, rubbing it gently. "Now can you tell me what the doctor said?" Robin asked anxiously, I smiled and shifted next to my son, still keeping him wrapped in my arm. "Well, she told me that the babies are fine. They're growing normally." His eyes grew and he just stared at me, his mouth hung open. "We made two? There are two babies inside of you?" He uttered, I nodded and moved my sweater around me a little tighter for him to see, he laughed and then bent over and kissed the babies, then me, carefully trying to not wake Henry. "I'm going to be a daddy again." He said to me, his eyes sparkling, I smiled back and felt tears building in my eyes. "And I'm going to be a mommy again." He took my hand and kissed it, pure excitement radiating through both of us.
