Aster's POV
Sitting on the freezing bench near the park, I gaze at the snow covered ground as other people go about their business. Adults rushing about on the sidewalk, children bundled up in their coats and scarfs as they chase one another, couples simply strolling down the sidewalk.
Then there's me, the grown man who's freezing his ass off in the freezing weather. Shaking my head, I sigh and glance around. I had gotten a call earlier this morning from Jack asking if I wanted to meet up at the park. Since I was crushing on him badly, I agreed. Instead of telling Jack that most people don't go out in the middle of winter in 23 degree weather....I agreed to go.
Something pushes my shoulders, jolting me out of my thoughts. Turning around, I look up to see a grinning Jack. "What's up doc?"
Rolling my eyes, I shift so I give him room on the bench. "Hardy har har, very funny." I mock.
Giggling, he sits down next to me. "I'm just trying to lighten the mood a bit, Bunny." He teases. "Besides," he holds out a mug to me, "I even went out of my way to get you some hot chocolate!"
Smiling, I accept the mug from him. "Well thanks, Jack. It was getting a bit nippy out." Grinning at him, I nudge him with my shoulder gently. "Probably Jack Frost nipping at my nose."
I watch in satisfaction at the blush making its way onto his face as he smirks. "So you finally found your sense of humor, huh Bun bun?"
"Guess you're starting to rub off on me." Taking a sip of cocoa, I smile as the drinks warmth spreads through my chest. "That really hits the spot."
Nodding his head, the teen gestures to the mug."Well it should, I made it myself!"
Lifting the mug, I give him a smile "And it's the best hot cocoa I've ever had."
Blushing slightly, Jack stares at me. "W-well I wouldn't say it's the best..."
Nodding my head, I think about it. "You're right, there's something that tastes even better than this." Grinning, I lean over and kiss him softly. Pulling back, I give him a smile. "Now that's much better."
Watching as he blushes even more, I can't help but chuckle as he ducks his head shyly. "S-sure."
Laughing, I shake my head at his action. "You know, you're too cute for your own good."
Glancing up at me, I get suspicious as he smirks at me. "But then again," he leans forward and kisses my nose, "who else will nip at your nose."
Surprised, I stare at him while heat creeps up my neck. "You know," I reach out for him and pulls him close to me, "you talk too much." Leaning down, I kiss him softly before he can respond.
