Chapter 9

Jane's POV

I got out of dance and I then got a message from Hayes. Hayes and I got even closer throughout the whole trip. We catched up on each other's life and we were back to how we were. I'd be lying if I said every time we talked my heart didn't skip a beat or I didn't feel butterflies in my stomach.

Hayes: Hey nerd do you think you could come to the beach today around 7 p.m? I'll pick you up.
Me: Bet

I told my mom I was going to the beach with Hayes for a while and she obviously let me. I put on my White bikini and a T-Shirt over with some shorts on top.

I heard a car beep. "Bye mom love you!" I said as I walked out the door. "What exactly are we gonna do at the beach at 7:00 PM?" I asked curiously. 

He shrugs, "I don't know." He says with a cheeky smile.

We arrived at the beach and we just started walking and talking. We soon arrived at a huge rock. "Close your eyes." Hayes said. 

"Okay." I said while giggling. We walked a little more of a distance.

"And....open!" He said and I did. I was sat on the rocks and the sand had candles on top that spelled out 'Yes or No?'. 

"Jane, I have known you for as long as I can remember. The day we became best friends was the day I realized I wanted to be with you. I've done fucked up shit to you that you don't deserve but I promise I will do everything in my power to make you happy." He said and I'm on the verge of crying. "Will you be my girlfriend? For real this time." He asks me.

I hold back my tears which I manage to successfully do. "Yes I'd love to." I said with a big smile. Then, he handed me flowers and before I could say thank you he smashed his lips against mine. We both saw flash and we still continued kissing.

We got in Nash's car and Hayes and I started talking. "Guess what?" He said. 

"What?" I replied. 

"There's a Magcon event taking place next next Friday and I would love for you to come." He asked me. 

"Hayes I'd love to but I have a dance competition that same day." I said.

"Holy shit you're back into dancing?" He asked and I nodded with a smile. "That's great, oh my gosh!" 

"Yeah but I'm sorry I can't go to your event." I say. "I'll make it up to you. Sleepover at my house." I told him. 

"Bet." he said while getting some clothes from a bag he had. We told Nash to drop us off at my house.

We arrived at my house where everyone was sound asleep. I grabbed Hayes' hand a dragged him to my room. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I got in my PJ's and went to my room. I saw Hayes wearing basketball shorts and shirtless. 

Damn, he's hot as fuck.

"So what do you wanna d-" I said as I was interrupted by banging on the door and cheering. I opened my door and saw my mom and Jake. 

"Woo! New couple!" My mom and Jake yelled. Hayes was cracking up and so was I. "Thank you guys but me Hayes want to alone time love you though!" I said. 

"Okay just don't do anything you're not supposed to!" My mom said as I closed the door. 

"They're the cutest." He said with a smile.
