Chapter 23

Jane's POV
Once we got at the NC airport I was surprising my family so I didn't call them to pick me up. Hayes and I were getting separate cabs since we are gonna be with our family. The cab came, I got inside and drove me to my house.

I got at my house, I paid the taxi driver and knocked on the door. Then Jake opens the door. "JANE!!" He yelled as he hugged me. "JAKE!!!" I yelled back. "Where's mom?" I asked him. "She's with that Michael dude." He said. "She really likes him a lot doesn't she." I said. "She likes him a lot and he likes her too a lot. He even, um, asked her to marry her." He said kinda bummed. "WHAT!? Mom's remarrying?!" I said freaked out. "Yeah, you missed out a lot." He said. "Well, I'm staying here until I get another gig. Oh, you have to take me to school now to tell them I'm back." I said. "Sure lets go now." He said grabbing the keys.

We got on the car and I out the radio on. The song "The Hills" is on.

Your man on the road he doing promo. You say keep our business on the low low.

I can't find your house send me the info. Driving the gated residential. Found out I was comin' sent your friends home. Keep on tryna hide it but your friends know.
I only call you when it's half, past, five the only time that I'll be by your side. I only love it when you touch me not feel me when I'm fucked up that's the real me when I'm fucked up that's the real me babe.

We got to the school and I walked inside and saw Hayes too with his dad Chad. I guess they were coming for the same reason as I was. "Aye what's up babe." He said. "I'm here to tell them I'm back I don't wanna miss out." I said. "My man Jake!! How's it going bro?" He asked. They went on with their convo while I was talking to the other office lady. She said okay she'll let the principle know.

Me and Jake left but Jake left me at home cause he was hanging out with his friends. I went inside the house and saw my mom. "Jane you're back!!" She said happily. "Yeah I'm back. So, I heard you're getting married? Again." I said. "Yes sweety, Michael and I love each other and he proposed to me." She said. "Mom, are you sure you want to make this decision?" I told her. "Is there a problem with my decision?" She said with LOTS of attitude. "Mom chill. I just want you to make the best decision." I said. "So what you're saying is not marrying Michael is the wrong decision. Cause if that's what you're saying then there's the door." She said pointing at the door. "The fuck mom I just don't want you to get hurt again like did to you." I said. "You know what? Leave now and come back when you think again." She said. I left the house and sat in the sidewalk hugging my knees crying. (A/N: picture above) I sat there for a couple of minutes until I saw Cameron walking Jaxx. "Jane you're back!" He said happily. I looked up and his face changed. "Woah what happened?" He asked me. "My mom kicked me out of the house." I said. "What the hell?! What kind of mother does that!" He said pissed off. "My mother does that." I said. "Where are you gonna sleep then?" He asked me. "Probably at Hayes' house or something." I said. "Well, if Hayes can't let you sleepover you always have me." He said. "Thank you it means a lot I would go for you as my first option but you know how Hayes is and I don't want any problem between us and crap." I said. Cameron then gets a phone call but I don't know by who. "Hey mom...yes I'll be there in a sec...oh my lord okay I get it...bye mom!" He said annoyed. "I have to go but text me if anything okay?" He said. "Okay see you later." I said.
