"Alright, Brandi. You've spent enough time admiring your bedroom," my Mom says with a chuckle. "We have to go tell the manager of the complex that we're here."
It's only a fifteen minute walk to the manager's building. When we get there, a conservative-looking woman walks out the glass doors to greet us. "Hello! You must be Michelle and Brandi, the new residents. My name is Melissa and I'm the manager of the complex," she says with a smile, that looks rather fake. "I have a few forms for you to fill out and sign, so if you'd just like to come inside..." She gestures for us to enter, and we do so.
My Mom follows Melissa, the manager, to a small, round table in the corner of the room while I go and sit in one of the chairs on the other side. I pick out my favourite magazine, 'Girlfriend', from the magazine stack on the small, coffee table beside the chairs.
I look up from the magazine to see a tall, good-looking boy about sixteen, my age. His short, blonde hair with dark hints is styled messily, brushing parts of his smooth, sun-tanned face. His big, brown, shimmering eyes met mine as he said in a voice so smooth and in some unexplainable way, soothing, "Hi! You're name's Brandi, right?"
"Um, yeah," I stammer. "How'd you know?"
"Oh, right. I must sound like some kind of stalker," he laughs. "My Mom's the manager of the complex. She told me someone my age called Brandi was moving in today and I saw you and presumed you were who she was talking about."
"Oh, okay. So, what's your name?"
"I'm Drew, Drew Anderson."
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Mr. Anderson," I reply, grinning.
I notice my Mom heading for the door and gesturing for me to follow her. I turn to Drew, "Looks like I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow, hopefully."
He smiles and replies, "Yeh, I hope so."
I wave and walk out the door, struggling to get the image of his beautiful face out of my mind.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
So, Drew's sounding pretty yummy! Hehe. I wonder what's going to happen between him and Brandi? Anything? Nothing? I don't know...
