"Ah! I can't believe you got a date out of him!" Nita shouted in the cafeteria the next day, while she danced slightly in her cafeteria seat in sheer happiness, her bright aqua blue t-shirt and charm necklace that had turquoise stones throughout the silver chain glistened brightly from the light shimmering in through the large windows. It was a different hue style all entirely than Quinn's white t-shirt and dark washed jeans, along with her moccasins that sat nestled on her feet.

Nita wanted to have a 'look at me' look to her today, since it was Friday, while Quinn merely wanted something casual that brought less attention than she needed. It didn't matter if it was Friday, it still was a school day.

Quinn cringed as she ignored the throbbing in her eardrums—all thanks to Nita screaming in excitement. She loosened up her features after her ears stopped ringing before noting that Nita was sitting across from her in the cafeteria with a handful of chili cheese fries sitting on a plate in front of her along with her soda can sitting next to the tray, already open to be consumed. Jealously flared up within Quinn in tight bundles, because she could only wish to be able to eat foods that were fatty and not gain a pound like Nita had.

A girl could dream...couldn't she?

"Don't say it like that. It makes it sound like I blackmailed him," Quinn scolded her, which in return sent Nita rolling her eyes at her before she chewed on her food. As she swallowed the greasy food Quinn suddenly felt a wave of nausea wash throughout her being, before she took a sharp breath of air.

Reaching one of her quivering hands up, Quinn pressed her fingers up against her forehead before groaning softly underneath her breath and blinking rapidly. Bringing her hands away, Quinn looked back at Nita—seeing that she was studying her with her hands wrapped around her soda can.

Arching one of her eyebrows up, the shorter girl tapped her painted fingernails against the lid of her soda can. "Are you okay? I know that you have the date tonight...but it looks like you're not feeling that well. Which sucks, I mean you've basically been wanting a date out of Mr. Dreamboat since basically forever."

Quinn took a deep breath of air before closing her eyes once more, knowing that the sharp pain that resonated throughout her forehead and her body was becoming stronger if she opened her eyes. "I don't know."

It was the only thing that Quinn could answer to, because she truly didn't know if she felt okay. She felt her breathing become abnormal and hissing underneath her breath once more, Quinn scrunched her features together as she tried to control the nausea that was threatening to come up and disrupt everything.

"I...I need to go to the restroom," Quinn finally commented, before she pulled herself off of her cafeteria seat and rushed out of the cafeteria as fast as her feet could carry her, not caring if she had gotten weird looks in the end.

Reaching the closest girls' restroom, Quinn pushed open the door hastily before running to the toilet. Behind her she heard the concerns from some of the girls in the restroom, but she merely ignored them as she dry heaved—expecting to be welcomed with vomit, only to be greeted with nothing coming out. She hadn't even eaten anything for lunch, but she had eaten some cereal this morning so she had something in her stomach.

Letting her head hang down, Quinn breathed deeply in and out—her breath shaking as her fingers clasped onto the toilet seat as though she was going to pass out. She could only gulp loudly and crane her head to the side, seeing that a girl was craning her head to the side before she began to make her way over towards Quinn with a bottle of water in her hands—the water 'sweat' that dripped down on the bottle showed that it was still freezing.
