At the Hemmings house

Maddie's p.o.v.
I park in the driveway to the Hemmings' house and helped Oreo out of the car. He doesn't run away from me, and he never leaves my side. If he does, which happens rarely, it's to either go to my dad or bed. He's scared of thudded storms so if one is going on he will sleep with me in my bed. He's my little suck. My mom knocks on the door and Oreo barks once. As I pick him up and hold him in my arms the door opens. He nuzzles his head into my body and I follow behind my parents as we enter the house.

"Luke! Get down here!" Yells Liz.

Luke comes prancing down the stairs and I roll my eyes.

"Show Madison and her puppy the guest room please," she says to him.

He nods and waves for me to follow him back upstairs. We walk down to the end of the hall and he shits a door to a room.

"That's my room, and your room is here," he says pointing to the room right beside his.

I nod and walk in. It's absolutely gorgeous. I guess living here won't be so bad for awhile. The walls are purple, my favourite colour. I smile at the room around me. The bed sheets are cute. I like this room. There's a window just a little bit above the roof.

"Madison!!" Someone yells.

I groan and walk out of the room, Oreo following me. I walk back downstairs and look around to see who called my name. It was my mother.

"We're leaving now Hun. Behave or you'll be grounded," my mom says.

"Yeah yeah," I say back.

I hug my mom and then my dad. He puts his mouth next to my ear.

"I put $500 in your account for you just in case," he whispers to me,"don't tell your mother and don't spend it all unless it's an emergency."

"Okay daddy," I whisper back," thank you."

He bends down to his knees and pets Oreo.

"Goodbye pup," he says to Oreo.

Oreo licks his face and my dad laughs. They leave the house and Liz shuts the door. She turns and looks at me with the widest smile I've ever seen in my life.

"Welcome dear," she says.

"Thanks Liz," I say back.

"Did Luke take you and Oreo on a tour?" She asks me as she pets Oreo.

I shake me head and she glares at Luke. He groans and turns around. I follow him back upstairs and he points at rooms saying this ones my parents this ones mine this one is a bathroom and so is this one. Then we go back downstairs and he shows me the living room, heaven or the kitchen as normal people would call it, and the dining room. I thank him and go into the kitchen.

"Hey Liz, thanks for letting me stay here," I say to Liz.

"Your welcome dear! Oh just so you know Robert is going somewhere for a bit too so it'll just be you Luke Me and Oreo here," she says smiling.

I nod in response and look around the kitchen. It's almost as big as mine.

"Oh by the way make yourself at home here. You can go through the cupboards and fridge of you want to. It doesn't bother me." She rants.

I thank her and look at Oreo.

"Wanna go for a walk pup?" I ask him.

He starts swinging his tail and I laugh.

"C'mon love," I say laughing.

I race Oreo upstairs and into my room  and grab his leash. I make his eyes follow my finger so that his front paws are on the ground and he's in a position to "prance". I get into a position to run as if we were in a race an count down. 

"One....two....THREE!" I yell.

We run as fast as we can back down the stairs and Liz and Luke are laughing at us. Oreo gets in front of me and to the door before me so I pretend to be hurt and lay on the floor. Oreo walks over to my face and licks me everywhere.

"Oreo stop it!!" I say laughing an trying to get up.

I yell arrête and he backs up with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. I laugh and put on his leash. I open the door and walk out with Oreo saying goodbye to Liz. She told me to be back for dinner.
