Ch 1 : Intro

My name is Anna Devin. I'm about to be 19 next month. Wow .

What a crappy introduction. Yeah whatever. I wear glasses 24 hours cause you know what. I'm blinded, well not literally blind. Just couldn't see without my glasses. A top 5 student. Well, of course I am what everybody is calling about. A geek. A bookworm and so on.

I lived with my parent. Well , adopted parent. Since they got a new baby, they offered me an apartment to stay by myself.

Saying that it's better for me to be independent woman. Independent my S. They surely want to keep me away from their only-real-family time.

In another word, kick me out. Well not literally, the give me allowance every month. Since they are rich, that allowance worth a 4 month working.

I could just wagging my leg on my cozy couch in my apartment living room.

Well I'm not. I hate doing stuff like watching tv all day long or bring my friends (which is not existed in my life) to my apartment.

I sometimes went to exercise at my all time favourite park. It was small. It was hidden too from a lot of people. They are some old lady and old man there chatting and joking around. May've you think I would be great being wild,drinking and have sex instead of hanging around with some old people.

There are one time when they invited me to watch the sky at night. It was awesome. That is my first time ever to feel warmth of people around me.

The fire that they light up as we sat circled around it listening to and old man name Dave strumming his acoustic guitar.

Sometimes they even went out all the way to propose me their grandson to marry me. Funny right. Of course i rejected it politely.

I just dont want to Think about love or romance yet. I'm not ready and need sometimes.

Well forget about that. More importantly I went out to the grocery stores and get my hands on some ingredient that I bought, thinking I'll be preparing some stew at my apartment.

For me alone of course. Yes I'm a bit a loner though. I wish I can invite my best friend here and shared some stew with me.

But she live too far from my country. Yes I do have one friend. Only one. Her name is Carra.

A beautiful successful model. Somehow I thought how can I befriended with her in the first place. On top of that, how can she be friends with a crappy and outdated girl like me?

It wasn't that long that I was dazing off about our first time meeting with each other when I realize that my apartment window glass have been shattered.

Glasses were everywhere. Sweat running down my cheek. I swear I didn't go on rage to punch or kick the window till it broke.
