This is my first werewolf novel. I have been reading a few lately and decided to try my hand at writing them. I did not want the boy to be the only villain in the story so I decided I wanted my heroine to also be baaaddass.
My chapters will be around 1500 words as this is just a hiatus from my usual work...
There will be grammatical errors but I will try (as if) to make sure there are not many!
So without further ado here it goes.....
Introducing Jessica Lowndes as Rebecca Jerome...she is gorgeous plus she already has beautiful green eyes.
I woke up in pain. The night was about to fall on the dense woods. The grey clouds were thin and the last bit of light was streaking over the mountains in the distance. I could still see around me in the faded light since werewolves had good eyesight at night. I tried to sit up looking at the unfamiliar area around. I was naked and I had wounds all over my body. I tried to call out to somebody but nothing came to me. No name or place. I stood up and looked around for some form of clothing. My legs were badly gashed but I knew that as a werewolf, I would heal fairly quickly. I sat back down as my legs felt too weak to support me.
My head was pounding. I tried to remember my name or the face of someone close to me but my mind was blank. I did not know who I was and or where I was. I walked slowly through the woods dragging my left foot as it had a long seeping gash on my thigh. My body was still very weak and my head was not easing off. I heard voices in the distance. It sounded like more than one. I quietly moved to the sounds. I did not want to be ambushed by a group of rogues. They had no loyalty and could destroy anyone especially a stranger like me.
I lay on my stomach gazing at the sight before me. A group of girls who looked like teenagers sat on blankets laughing and chatting. They were singing and moving to the music from a mobile phone. There were no guards around and I wondered if they were humans. I would not disturb them since they might scream and alert others. I had to be careful. I tried to stay still and crawl away undetected. I had gotten a good distance when two men appeared in front of me blocking my path. They were tall and much bigger than I was. They were probably in their mid twenties and did not look happy to see me.
"Who are you?" the dark haired one asked gruffly.
I opened my mouth to respond but my brain fed it no information so I closed it.
"Answer me rogue!" the man shouted. I shook my head, was I a rogue? I had a feeling that I had a pack but since I had woken up alone so maybe I was a rogue.
"Take him!" the man said as I was hauled to my feet. I tried to fight but my weakened body refused to co-operate.
"Don't even try it rogue!" the brown haired one said to me as he pushed me to the ground. I was given a pair of shorts to wear which I gratefully put on.
"Why were you spying on the Alpha's daughter?" I was forced to my knees and my hands tied behind my back with silver rope. It burned my already wounded skin.
"Speak boy!" I said nothing and I was kicked twice in the stomach.
The two men dragged me away with them; as they led me away I heard a female voice shout.
"Stop!"
"Miss Rebecca no need to get involved we will take this rogue to the dungeon."
The dark haired one said leading me away.
"Alex wait! Let me see this spy!" the female voice came nearer and I was turned to face her.
"Look at me rogue!" she demanded. I kept my head down since I was in too much pain to raise it. My eyesight was getting blurry and I was losing consciousness.
