Part 10

Blade POV

The next day I lay recuperating in the hospital. My father had not been pleased by what had happened. He was angry. The last I knew was that he and Alpha Trent had been in a meeting all night.

Channon and Ralf walked in as the nurse left after checking my vital signs. I had not ingested much of the mixture just enough for it to be present in my blood but not enough to knock me out totally.

'It worked.' Ralf said smiling and I put a finger to my lips.

Use the mind link. I reminded him.

I totally disagree with this Blade. You just destroyed a young woman's reputation. Channon was saying dignified as usual.

She deserved everything and then some. What I did to her is nothing compared to what she did to me. I said firmly. Now where is she?

'It seems Alpha Trent has sent her to a place where she can reflect on her ways. I smiled at Ralf's words I sat up straighter in bed.

They sent her to some military type school until she is twenty.'

Only for four years? I'm a bit peeved.

'Well it seems her friends squealed on what was done to you last year so that compounded the matter. Her friends have all been sent to different locations around the world. It was brutal this morning.' Ralf said.

I heard footsteps coming toward my room so we quickly switched back to speech.

'So what happened to the challenge? We lost huh?' I said sounding forlorn. 'We worked so hard but I caused us to lose.'

'We won actually.' Channon supplied amused by my acting.

'Really?' I asked pretending to be shocked.

'Yes, in spite of everything Squadron 6 are this year's champions.' My father said walking into the room. 'How are you feeling my son?'

'I'm much better, yesterday was kinda a blur.' I said sadly.

'No need, you will be released shortly and we will return home. The matters here have all been resolved.' My father said firmly and I tried to give a small smile while my heart was somersaulting inside.

I stood in Alpha Trent's office, this time the great Alpha looked smaller. Liam and Luna Lilly stood by his side not meeting my eyes.

'I deeply apologise Blade for everything. Last year what you went through and yesterday. I assure you and your father that my daughter and her friends will be severely punished for their acts of cruelty.' My father nodded and I gave a bow.

'I must say you have shown yourself to be a great warrior and fighter in adversity. You will make a great alpha.' The words warmed my heart.

Luna Lily stepped forward and gave me a hug.

'Please forgive her; I know it is hard now but someday.' There were tears in her eyes which spilled down her cheeks as she went into the embrace of her mate.

'Thank you for your hospitality.' My father said.

'I did enjoy my stay here at camp and I hope Becca gets the right help.' I said as we left the office. My father clapped me on the back as we exited the main building. Ralf and Channon were already waiting near the SUV. The other members of the pack had already left for the journey back home.

'This is it guys, next stop is home.' My father got into his SUV with his men.

I opted for my own with Channon and Ralf.

As the doors closed and the vehicle navigated its way out of Full Moon territory I let out a great laugh. No one messes with me and gets away with it.

Liam POV

I was not really shocked at what Becca had done last year but yesterday. I had my doubts. Although Blade's version fit in with the scene something was not right. Becca had finally met her match. I would miss my sister but sending her away was better than her being banished as Alpha Eric wanted. In fact he had wanted her stripped and demoted to being an omega. My mother had pleaded and Alpha Eric had relented. The matter had been handled discreetly with very few people aware of what actually happened. To most it appeared like a tryst between lovers.

So now my sister was in Alaska at a school for disobedient wolves more like a juvenile detention camp. Her friends had also been sent to camps around the world although their sentences were shorter.

I knew my sister she was a fighter. This would make her stronger.
