The next few days, Tyler rested up and I tried to attend as many classes as I could to keep myself caught up for the Ohio trip we were taking the following week. Tyler didn't talk much about what happened or why he did what he did, so I tried not to pressure him. The night before we were set to go to Columbus, though, I couldn't bear it anymore.

"Tyler can we please talk about what happened?" He immediately clammed up at my request, giving me the cold shoulder. He got up from his seat at the table and went to sit on our newly bought Goodwill couch, me close on his heels. "You can't keep avoiding it and shutting me out. Please, Tyler, please just tell me what I can do to help you." I knelt down beside where he was sitting and took his hand, "I love you, I just want to help, why won't you let me?"

Abruptly, he snatched his hand away from me and I felt the familiar sting in my nose that meant I was going to cry. My eyes filled to the brim and as he turned away, tears spilled over like water from a dam. Tyler turned to glance at me and his face immediately softened when he saw my tears. "Aurora I'm sorry," he tried to comfort me but I pulled away, hurt by him slamming the door in my face yet again.

Getting up, I solemnly head into our bedroom and shut the door. A few hours later, after I'd cried myself into a semi-sleep, I felt Tyler crawl into the bed beside me and put his arm around me. He stroked my hair and kissed my bare shoulders. "I'm so sorry Aurora, you don't know how guilty I feel. I told you that I didn't want you to be my crutch and it seems like that's all I'm using you for, but I'm not, I swear I'm not. I love you more than anything, that's why it's hard for me to tell you what happened. I don't want you to feel like it was your fault, because it wasn't; it really wasn't. Please try to understand."

I turned around in my half slumber and looked at Tyler's eyes, which were tearing up. He looked a little shocked to see that I was awake but didn't say anything. In a groggy voice I say," Ty, I'm trying to be patient and give you the time you need. I just want to help you, that's all. I don't know what I can do to help you. I feel like you're shutting me out and I don't want you to."

Tyler's arms tightened around me as he pulled me closer to his body, careful of the still healing wounds. With one hand he brushes a piece of auburn hair out of my face, while the other presses firmly against my back as he kissed me. The kiss was sweet and loving, almost timid but it held everything he needed to tell me. "Just remember I love you, okay? The rest will come in time, please stay patient, I don't want to lose you." I nod my head into his chest and fall asleep in his arms knowing that he loves me.

The next morning, Tyler wakes me up early saying that we need to pack and get ready for the train ride to his parents house. Josh and Mark were coming along in separate train carts so they could see their families and spend time with Tyler as he recovers. Once we arrived at the station, two men started to unpack our luggage from the pulled out back of the taxi and we made our way inside to wait for the arrival.

Tyler and I walked side by side, pulling our suitcases behind us and holding hands. We met Josh and Mark in the waiting area and they started telling me about all the cool stuff we could do while we're in Columbus. "Yeah," Josh started, "the most fun thing is going to be you meeting my mom though, she's fricken sick." I let a small giggle escape my mouth as Tyler and Josh got into a heated debate about who's mom was better.

As they argued across me, I noticed a little blonde boy, probably around seven or eight come up and sit on Tyler suitcase so he could play with the puzzle game that was mounted on the wall. After not hearing the argument continue, I looked over to see Josh snapchatting pictures of the kids and Tyler smirking as he watched them climb all over his stuff.

"Now boarding train A13 departing for Columbus," the overhead announcer boomed.

"Oh that's us," I said as I checked the tickets to make sure.

Tyler leaned over to the little boy and whispered to him something that I couldn't hear. Whatever it was made the boy smile and high five Tyler though, so I assume it was something sweet. He then hopped down off of the suitcase and we walked to the train entrance hand in hand.

Josh and Mark had seats a few sections away from us because we couldn't find any seats that allowed us all to sit together.

When we finally go to sit down, Tyler blurted, "I wrote a song for you."

Immediately my cheeks warmed, "Really?"

"Yeah," he smiled sheepishly. "I've been working on it while you went to school and work and stuff."

"Well, can I hear it?" Excited butterflies danced in my belly.

"Its recorded on my phone, here," he handed me his headphones and I waited for the music to fill my ears.

The lyrics started accompanied by an acoustic guitar, "A brave man said,'You put a name to a song, and it won't change no matter what goes wrong.' I'll try my best to find a face and a name, I'll sing until we are both one in the same. Didn't have much time to see why I was found, had to say goodbye as time ran out. Sail across the world just to find a pearl on the other side. Hope the pearl won't forget this song, and won't forget the sky. I don't know what I should give, or what I'm to sing. All I can do is give you this and let my heart play.I know your face, let this song whisper your name." My chest leaped as the song went on, happy tears forming in my eyes.

When I took out his headphones, Tyler's face looked hurt, "You didn't like it? I saw you start crying was it that bad?"

"Are you kidding me Ty? That was the most beautiful song I've ever heard. I love it. What's it called?"

"Whisper, like your middle name."

My cheeks blushed once more as i leaned over and kissed Tyler on the cheek. "Thank you for making that for me." I was extremely grateful that he would give me something so precious and so valuable but the other half of me wondered how such a beautiful thing could be written for someone like me.

A smile spread cross his tired looking face, "I'm glad you liked it. I was nervous you wouldn't."

"Well I do so don't worry, sweet pea. just get some sleep before we see your mom and she says I don't take care of you properly."

Tyler nodded and smiled again, resting his heavy eyelids and heavy head on my shoulder. I used my free hand to stroke little bits of his grown out hair, wondering how I got so lucky because despite all Tyler's demons and all the torment he puts himself through, he's the most beautiful person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

"Hey Ty?"

"Hm?" he answered groggily.

"What did you tell that little boy?"

"I told him that I was Iron Man out of costume and that I needed my luggage back because it had my suit in it, " he yawned.

"That's really sweet."

"You're really sweet," I grinned a little.

"Okay now go to sleep."

"Okay."
