Chapter 11

A/N: Sorry for taking forever to finally get this update to you all. I have just been stumped. I still am so apologies if this turns out sucky. I want to dedicate this chapter to @inkwolf7 for the helpful suggestions to motivate me to continue. 

Floating in the not-to-far distance was a small raft. Two people were shivering from the sea breeze on top of the raft. The male on the raft was trying to keep his girlfriend warm with the fire erupting from his hands. 

"I'm just going to go for a morning swim." Percy told Annabeth as he exited her cabin. He ran obliviously into the lake that connected to the ocean. Once he was full submerged into the ocean he was able to sense this mysterious raft. Percy decided to float to it. "Leo! Calypso? Leo you found her this is amazing!" He shot out of the water and landed on top of the waves. "Calypso, I hope we can have a slightly more private talk later?" 

"Percy... Um.. Yes of course." She nodded.

"What do you want to my girl friend about?"

"Girlfriend?" Percy pauses, unsure of what he should say. He wasn't jealous. He was just afraid he might say something he'd regret later. 

"Yes." Leo says confidently and Calypso blushes. 

"I'll just warn you. You might want to steer clear of Annabeth for a while." With that Percy willed the currents to push the small raft to shore, then followed suit. 

Once the couple hit land the walked to the centre of the cabins. "So much for a welcome back party." Leo commented. 

"So this is Camp Half-Blood? Huh." Calypso commented as well. 

Jason and Piper were casually walking by when they caught the eyes of none other than Leo Valdez. "LEO!" The couple shouted and raced to the elfish friend.  After a couple minutes, a few people had gathered around. "Who's this?"

"Oh, this is Calypso. My girl friend." 

"Aww" Take your guess on who said that. 

"How are you not dead?" 

"It's a long story." 

In the small crowd a few Athenian kids were whispering irratically after hearing Calpso's name. Soon enough the entire camp had circled around. Annabeth emerged from the crowd to confront Calypso. Annabeth just stood and eyed up Calypso. Percy was soon enough behind his girlfriend. 

"Calypso, this is Annabeth. Percy's girlfriend." Leo introduced.

"So.. Percy, this is the girl you left me for? Of course she's blonde just like all the other heroes." 

With that reply Annabeth slapped the new girls face, hard. "That's what you get for cursing Percy and I." 

"You both deserved that curse. If it weren't for Leo, I'd still be rotting on that island. Going on my fourth year since Percy came."

Annabeth slapped the girl again, tears in the blonde's eyes. "You have no idea what it felt like to be blind and alone in Tartarus! You were perfectly safe on your island. We were fighting for our lives in hell. Every time we killed one of those creatures, we had to endure another curse. Yours was just horrible." Her voice broke. 

"Not to mention she almost walked straight off a cliff. Yea know since you blinded her." Percy added.  "I'm sorry Leo. This is what I was going to speak to her privately about." 

Leo was shocked and silent for once, but he nodded in understanding. "I think I need to be alone and think for a bit." And he walked to Bunker 9... Alone. 

Later after the crowd dispersed.... 

Kate had started thinking. No way was she going to win Percy's heart from Annabeth. What do you expect? They went through hell together! Literally.
