Chapter 16

( Daniel's POV )

I starred at Calum then Jake then Calum again confused on what he's talking about. Jake looked guilty, his shoes suddenly more interesting than this conversation. A wave of realization washed over me and I really just wanted to disappear.

I would surely love for this ground to swallow me in right about now

Jake blushed and glanced at me for a brief second then looked away again " I don't know what you're talking about."

"Don't play stupid Jake. What plan are you talking about?"

Luke let me go from his embrace and shot Calum a look "What are you talking about?."

Calum huffed out a breath before replying " He just said something about how he's glad they didn't go through with a 'plan' of some sort."

Jake rolled his eyes "I didn't say anything! you were reading my thoughts, which I told you to stop doing!"

"Same thing!"

It was quite for a minute. Me and Jake shifted next to each other, uncomfortable under everyone's gases. I shot jake a death glare before looking at the guys and giving them a nervous smile " list-"

"Quite!, Ashton yelled cutting me off "Now are you boys gonna tell us what Calum is taking about or are we gonna have to force it out of you?" he asked calmly which caused me to gulp and stay quite

He sighed and Andy was quick to speak up " Um. . .

should we like go? do you want us to give you privacy?" he asked trailing off

Ashton gave him a thankful smile in return " Please? that'd be great"

Andy nodded and all the guys that were staring at us intently shook out of their gases standing up and gave us awkward smiles "It was nice meeting you boy's. we'll stop by tomorrow and say goodbye yeah?"

We nodded our heads and said our goodbyes and they all walked away to their busses and we watched them drive away out of site. We were snapped out of our gaze by a clearing throat

"Let's go to the house." Michael said standing up. They all nodded and followed suit mentioning us to get up as well. Me and jake obeyed, standing up and started walking towards the house with them following in tow.

(Jake's POV )

I should really keep my thoughts to myself around here i mean damn! now we're in trouble and it's all my fault. Daniel's mad I can tell but it's not completely my fault that we have no privacy because of his big headed mate! like seriously I bet he's reading my thoughts as we spe- i mean think!. I glanced over my shoulder to see calum glaring at me mumbling something under his breath. Ha, probably cause i called him big head. We reached the house and walked in, me and dani rushing to the stairs quickly but not quick enough

"Na ah, where do you boy's think you're going? you're not off the hook just yet." Luke said grabbing the back of mine and Daniel's shirt pulling us to the couch

"But im tired!" dani protested wiggling in luke's hold

"I don't care," he replied pushing us on the couch "so tell us. . .what was the plan you were going to attempt or so help me." he said looking us dead in the eye

"Okay!" Daniel groaned and I looked at him like he was crazy

"Okay?" I asked confused he just nodded and i sighed "Fine."

"We over- well daniel overheard you idiots talking a couple nights ago about how you'd "bet" we'll practically fall for you within a week," I explained glaring with disgust "I can't believe you will even say that! better yet BET that!"

They all looked guilty and if they could get any paler i think they would've

Luke was the first to speak up "I told you! I told you shit would hit the fan, but nooo, no one ever listens to me!" he spoke pouting

"What does any of this have to do with a plan?" Calum asked curiously

"Oh yeah, that," I said chuckling "Well every bad boy needs to be punished right?" I asked smirking

"With that being said we're not telling you shit. You should all think about what you say or bet before you go through with it" Daniel said sassily.

We both stood up and went up the stairs leaving the guy's dumbfounded
