Chapter 22

(Daniel's POV) did you expect that??

I woke up sweaty gaping for air looking around frantically. What happened? i thought to myself. Realizing i was in an unfamiliar room i sat up slowly looking around confused, Where's Jake?

I got up out of the bed and flinched at the burning pain in my neck making me groan. I reached up and felt the burning spot before gasping and and rushing toward the mirror in the room nearby, is that what i think it is?! i question in my head getting closer to the mirror. There on my neck lay four small but noticeable bite marks and not just any bite marks. I gasped shaking my head backing away from the mirror till i felt the wall collide with my back. Could it be?

"No." i whispered sliding down the wall. I put my head in my hands and did the only thing i could do

Cry

Harshly rubbing the tears away i look around again. Where the hell is jake. Where am I? Last i remember is being trapped in a dark room and the rest is beyond me. I sit up straight and furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

Getting dizzy i suddenly have this weird feeling in the back of my throat. A feeling of want, a desire for something i can't explain. What the hell is wrong whith me? Determined to get some answers i weakly make a move to stand up, but before i could do so the door busted open revealing Luke and Calum

"Daniel." luke said in relief and walked to me slowly in concern. I hold my hand out making him stop and look over at calum in worry. I finally get the strength to stand up and glare at them both

"What's wrong with me? what did you do?!" i asked causing a sharp pain to shoot through my head. I lifted my hand and clutched it, in a attempt to make the pain stop. Luke and Calum took a step forward with pitty, but i once again stopped them

"What happened? where's my brother? where are we?" i frantically asked thinking about jake again

Calum took another step forward and reached out for me slowly " We need you to calm down okay? we'll explain everything you wanna know but first you need to stay calm." he said trying to grab my arm but i swerved away from his grasp and ran to the door throwing it open and dashed out the room, down the stairs and out the unfamiliar flat with the speed i now have

"What the hell?!" i questioned looking down at myself and back at the woods ahead of me confused

"Daniel!" I hear Luke and Calum shout behind me making me look behind for a split second then infrot of me again

"Daniel!!" i hear them yell out again but this time closer

so i ran

(Ashton's POV)

"Jake you need to eat." Michael said putting a plate of food infrot of him

"I'm not hungry." he whispered turning over in bed facing the wall making us sigh

Jake's been this way every single day for two whole weeks since what happened with his parents and Daniel. We convinced him that dani is ok and in good hands with luke and cal but he refuses to listen to us. He thinks his brother is still dead and he just wants to see him but i don't think that's a good idea. Jake still doesn't know what Calum and Luke had to do to his brother. They did what they had did to save him and we think it will be best if we kept them away from each other for awhile. That's why we are at the house while cal , luke and daniel are in our back up flat just to keep Jake safe until further notice.

I took a deep breath before approaching him slowly and kneeling infrot of the bed " Jake babe, can you look at me for a minute? please?" i asked rubbing his back

He slapped my hand away and turned to face me "Jesus! could you both leave me alone for five fucking minutes in peace?! i don't want to talk to you." he said laying back down and pulling the blanket over his head " Get the Fuck out."

"Jake please just eat something. I'm starting to worry about you love." mikey said with a sad pleading look on his face

"Let me see my brother." he asked calmly removing the blanket and looking right at us

"We can't le-"

"Then get the Fuck out of my room and leave me the hell alone." he replied angrily pointing at the door

"Ja-"

"OUT!" he yelled getting up and pointing at the door

I looked at mikey and nodded my head and walked out the room with him on my tail. I turned around and was gonna say one more thing but jake slammed the door in our face leaving me to sigh in defeat and walk downstairs

Once we got to the bottom step the front door slams open with a worried looking Luke

" What wrong?" Michael asked beating me to it

He looked up at us scared "It's Daniel. He's run off
