Chapter 2

(Daniel's POV)

After about almost thirty looong annoying minutes of my brother singing to 'What Makes You Beautiful'and a couple more songs from One Direction we FINALLY arrived at the cafe.

Once we found a parking spot and parked, we existed the car and walked into the cafe to be greeted by our parents

"HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY BOYS "our mom shouted close to tears

oh great

"Thanks mo-no come on don't do that " I cut myself off when she walked over and lent in to give me a kiss on the cheek practically wiping her red lipstick on me.

"Oh come on dani lighten up a bit. " Jake said when mom went over and repeated the same thing to him.

"Happy Birthday guy's, you came a long way and I'm very proud of you and will always be glad to have you as my son's, i guess what im getting at is Happy birthday and i hope you guys have a great day, enjoy it to the fullest." my father said giving me and Jake a bone crushing hug.

"Thanks pop's we appreciate it "Jake replied when we all let go of our embrace

"Yeah means a lot " i commented.

"Oooh look at my boys" my mom gushed pulling us into a hug squeezing a little to tight might I add.

"Mom I can't breathe " I stated but the grip never loosened

"Mom?" Jake questioned sounding out of breath

"Oh for God's sake Marry let them breathe." my father said and that's when her grip on us loosened.

"Oh, sorry just a little bit emotional.My babies are growing up so much. " she sobbed hugging us once more before turning around and heading towards the table dragging us with her, dad trailing behind us.

"It's not that big of a deal.We will always be around no matter what" Jake stated sitting down.

"Yeah look on the bright side of things,we will still be your babies." I added

"I know it's just hard seeing you boys won't need my help anymore, but I'll be ok. Anyways what do you guys plan on doing today?" she asked changing the subject

"Well I guess nothing interesting, maybe go to the mall and the movies nothing much just spoiling ourselves." I said

"And tonight?" my father asked looking at us expectantly

"Yeah dad, don't worry we'll be fine like always, we have it under control. "Jake said annoyance written on his face.

"I know I know, just a bit scared is all. This will be the first time you guys will be alone fighting by yourselves, just promise you boys will come back alright." my dad said his face full of concern.

Jake and I shared a glance

"We promise" me and Jake confirmed in sync

"ALRIGHT LET'S EAT!" my father cheered grinning from ear to ear.

"YEAH!" Jake yelled

"Sounds good " I replied

"Great" mom chipped in

After we all ate me and Jake headed home and changed into a different set of clothes deciding the mall first then a movie and ended our night with dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant.

But unfortunately it's not the end of the night for us......at least not yet

"Ready bro?" Jake asked waiting by the front door tucking his weapons into our equipment bag swinging it over his shoulder

"Ready as I'll ever be"
