Kurt opened an eyes before shutting it again and all but gently grabbed the pillow to block the sunlight. Unfortunately, Blaine had other ideas. With a wide smile, he yanked the curtains wide apart to let the unforgiving morning light in. Kurt flipped around buried his head in the dalton bed, meanwhile chucking an alarm clock in Blaine's way. Blaine ducked just in time and looked at Kurt, horrified.
'Get out or you'll never see daylight again.' said Kurt with no sign of sarcasm.
'Huh. The morning's not kind on you.' said Blaine. 'I'd have thought that you'd be slightly more welcoming after I sang that song last night. '
For a second, Kurt was about to tell Blaine that he was ludicrous and he had no idea what he was talking about when it crashed on Kurt. Kurt unwillingly got up and plastered a smile on his face.
'Morning!' he said cheerfully.
'Um.' said Blaine, a little worried. 'I'll leave you in peace.' But right that moment a high pitched scream came next door and Wes ran like a girl in to Kurt's room. David followed with a night cap and a glare. He was yelling profanities at Wes. Kurt snapped and let out a war cry before chucking the pillows at Wes and David. Panting, Kurt glared at them in silence.
'If you want to live-' began Kurt.
'I am going. Bye.' said David. Wes nodded and they stumbled over each other trying to get out. Surprisingly, Kurt felt better after that. He also felt guilty.Flopping back on his own bed and pulling the covers over his head, he buried his head in embarassment. Great. First thing in the morning, he makes everyone hate him.
'Kurt?' asked Blaine. Kurt was surprised he was still there.
'Yea?' he mumbled in to his blanket.
'Are you okay?' he asked, sincerely concerned. Kurt sighed, Blaine wasn't even mad at him.
'Yeah. Sorry about that Blaine.' he said. Surprisingly, Blaine let out a chuckle.
'It's fine, Wes and David had it coming. It's not like David hasn't thrown a pillow in my face before. But I guess I had THAT coming. ' he said, a little confused.
'David threw a pillow at you?' asked Kurt, a little concerned. ' Why?' he asked, sticking his head out of the covers.
'Ah, Alia and me were laughing and-' Blaine mimed David's grouchy face and throwing a pillow, our dear friend David yells, '-Shut up you two! ' Kurt giggled and Blaine smiled, like always. 'You're smiling.' stated Blaine. Kurt blushed.
'I know. Thanks Blaine.' Kurt said. He suddenly felt a slight heartache when he remembered what he told Blaine last night. Blaine noticed the falter in Kurt's smile and hugged Kurt, snapping Kurt back forcefully to reality.
'Well, I suppose I should go.' said Blaine.
'No!', Kurt's widened as he realised what he said. He nearly slapped a hand to his mouth. ' I mean- uh- you don't have to leave?' It came out more of a question, oh well. Blaine glanced at Kurt oddly and Kurt thought it was over- Blaine is creeped out, before Blaine smiled at sat beside Kurt. Kurt sighed internally this time.
