Third Person POV 4 years later

***Zara and Malakai***
Soft hums could be heard from the kitchen as Zara washed the dishes from the kids lunch, PB&J's with bananas and strawberries on the side, with some milk.

The 21 year old couldn't help but feel proud that both of her toddlers, even her picky eater Carson, ate all of their food. She needed a win after they both absolutely hated their oatmeal, eggs, and toast this morning.

She chuckled. They both asked for that EXACT meal, just to hate it. Carlee at least finished her toast.

Just as she finished her last dish she felt Kai's warm hands rub her from the side to her stomach. She smiled as he kissed her cheek and pulled her body into his.

"Hey there good looking" Malakai said planting more soft kisses on her.

"What are you up to, sir?" she asked playfully.

Malakai smiled as he kissed her neck. She still smelt so sweet, but now it was more like toasted vanilla, and she tasted even better. He watched her while she was washing the dishes.

Moving her hips to the rhythm in her head, it was nearly hypnotizing. He just had to touch his favorite person.

"I just put the twins down for a nap" he said licking over his mark before kissing it. "I think we have 15 minutes"

He sounded so hopeful and excited, it nearly made her laugh. Between two very fast toddlers and running a fast growing pack, they haven't had much alone time.

On the plus side the twins are finally 4 years old and will be going to kindergarten next year! It seems like only yesterday Carlee took her first steps, Carson following behind her by 4 months.

The two are drastically different with Carlee being the wild card and Carson being a skeptical little guy.

She bit her lip excitedly and turned around to throw her arms around her mates neck, but stopped once she seen Carson standing in the doorway with his bluey blanket in his hand.

He had his little lip poked out as he rubbed his eye with his free hand.

"What happened buddy?" Zara asked, immediately going to comfort her son.

"I counted to 50 like dad said and when I opened my eyes he was gone" He said with his soft little voice.

"Should've said 200" Kai mumbled as Zara rubbed Carson's head.

"How about we read a story and go back to bed?" Zara offered.

He growled. "I don't want to sleep!" His wolf was angry. In his little mind this was war! He wanted to be up with the grown ups! He didn't think it was far that kids had to nap.

"Do you want to read Green Eggs and Ham or The Cat In The Hat?" Zara asked ignoring his outburst. Besides, she knew he just wanted to feel in control. He might not have a choice on rather or not he naps, but he can pick the damn book.

"Cat!" He exclaimed.

"Let me get that in a full sentence, please" Kai asked before Zara could. They've been working on talking in complete sentences. Both parents wanted them more than ready for school.

"I want to read Cat In The Hat" he said with a loud sigh. This kid.

Zara shook her head and tried not to laugh. He was so cute despite his annoyance. His features are more pronounced now and he looks nearly identical to his mother. Kai didn't have much to do with this one at all.

Carlee has his hair color and whole face, just with Zara's blue eyes.

"Go grab the book, wait in your bed, and I'll be in there in a few minutes, okay?"
