Special 9th Birthday: Donnie

You were in Donnie's lab at 8 in the morning, working on what Donnie called The Shellraiser. He gave up yesterday and went to bed earlier, so you decided to help out. I mean, come on. You really think that Donnie would teach you almost everything in the past nine years? Anyways, you worked on it until Donnie jumped out of bed and dragged you out of the lab and into the main room and set you on the couch. He smiled at you. "I appreciate you helping, but it's the kind of thing you can't help a whole ton with", he said. You crossed your arms. You heard footsteps as April entered the lair with Casey. You gave a fake smile. "Hi!" You said. "Hi again!!" April said. "Yo", Casey said with a wave of his hand. April and Donnie were talking as they entered the lab (btw, you haven't told anyone but Sensei about your fear, so no one knows). You growled at the door. Casey did the same. You looked at each other. "Looks like we have something in common", he said and you nodded.

Presents were opened. Cake was eaten. Candles blown out. Everyone chatted. The room got quiet as Splinter walked out. "(Y/n), it is time for my present", he said and gestured to the dojo. You followed him in and he handed you a bo staff. "Handle it with care", he said and you both bowed. "Whatchya get?" Mikey asked as you walked out. You twirled the staff in your hand. Donnie chuckled as April smiled. Inside, you growled like a tiger at her. But you just kept that fake smile on until she left your home.
