Like Daughter, Like Father: Mikey

You were at school when someone burst into the science room, where Ms.Tanzi was teaching. "Everyone out!! Now!!" He yelled. You smelt something weird and dashed out with the rest of the class. You ran out with the nasty smelling stuff chasing you, but you tripped and it caught you. You fainted on the spot and had someone drag you out.

Mikey was walking by the school wen he heard an alarm go off. He dashed to the school and found you unconscious on the floor. He picked you up and carried you to the lair in panic.

"DONNIE!!" He yelled as he entered the lair. Donnie dashed out of his lab to come face-to-face with an almost in tears Mikey. Donnie grabbed you and hooked you up to a machine. He poked you with a blood pressure object and drew blood. He looked under a microscope at your blood and ran tests.

"Well?" Mikey said as Leo patted his shoulder and Raph stood with his arms crossed. "She's been exposed to Pb", Donnie said. "What's that?" Leo asked shakily. "She's been exposed to Lead", he said. "Cool!!" Mikey said. "NOT cool Mikey!! Lead can be toxic to developing brain tissue and may have sustained effects on the behavior of children exposed to these substances at early ages. Still, it's unlikely that such exposure accounts for differences in brain development in the vast majority of children", Donnie said. "Wait a minute. Does that mean that-"

"Yes Mikey. She's got ADHD, just like you", Donnie answered (believe it or not, Mikey does have ADD or ADHD as it's the correct term). Mikey nodded.

When you woke up, Mikey told you in a simplified version of what Donnie said and you nodded. You were going to be ok even if you had the worst disease.
