The class ended and Emma got up to leave, her sleeves went up a little and Regina, the girl that Emma noticed, saw Emma's arms. She gasped quietly and walked out, going into Lena's office.

Emma thought nothing of it and walked out. She went to her locker and got things for her next class.

She walked the halls, alone just like always. She was used to it of course but it wouldn't hurt to have a friend for once. Not having anyone is the worse.

She got to class and sat besides her foster brother, Jesus. She smiled at him, a fake smile of course. He brought it.

The class started and Regina came in late. She looked at the teacher. "Ms. Phillips, Mrs. AdamsFoster needs to see a girl named Emma." She told the teacher.

"Emma?" The teacher called out.

Emma sighed and stood up. Regina gave a slight smile and sat down.

"What do you need?" The blonde asked.

"You are wanted in the vice principles office." The teacher stated and gave Emma a pass.

Emma took it and walked out.
'Why would lena need to see me? I'm a nothing. I didn't even do anything wrong.' She thought to herself. She walked in the office. "Yes, Lena?" She asked.

Lena sighed and stood up. She wrapped her arms around the blonde. "Why?" She asked.

"Why what?" Emma looked confused.

The older woman pulled up the blondes sleeves. "That. A girl saw them and reported it to me. Why did you do that?" She asked.

"Because..." Emma crossed her arms. "It's none of your business. You don't know me." She frowned.

"I may not know you but I want to know why you did this."

"Because I felt like it." She sassed and walked out. She went to the beach and sat behind a tree. Lena sighed and sat back down.

After the classes, Regina found Emma on the beach.

"Hey." Regina sat besides Emma.

"Why?" Emma asked.

"Why what?" The brunette looked confused.

"You told Lena about my arms. You don't know me."

"I may not know you, but I care about people I don't even know. When I see that, it hurts me for some unknown reason."

Emma sat there, quietly. She got up. "I'm going home. What's your name?"

"Regina Mills." The brunette smiled.

Emma faked a smile and started to walk towards the school, just in time as Lena walked out.

They got in the car and went home.

They walked inside and sat at the table. "Lets talk." Lena said.

Emma shook her head. "There's nothing to talk about. You aren't my mother and I know you will never be." She sighed and looked down.

Lena sat there speechless. She sighed. "Yes. I know but I still want to be there for you."

"Why?" Emma questioned.

"Because I care about my kids." Lena stated.

'Care about your kids? I'm not even your kid. I'm a foster kid that will never be adopted.' Emma thought and ran to her room. She slammed the door and cried slightly, not really sure what to do.
