A few weeks went by quickly and Emma got in the hung of things. Her birthday was just a few days away. She even been hanging out with Regina lately.

She walked downstairs and Lena greeted her with a box in her hands.

"What's that?" The blonde asked.

"A phone. You will need one. Especially if you need to call someone." Lena explain.

Emma smiled. "Thanks." She hugged Lena and opened the box. She put the phone in her pocket then ate her breakfast. She headed out the door and waited in the car.

She bit her lip ad hummed to the radio. She stared at her phone. She was actually surprised that she got it.

She jumped at the sound of it buzzing. Someone had texted but how did they know Emma's number?

Emma looked down at the phone and smiled once she saw Regina's name. Lena had put the family's contacts in the phone and Regina's number.

'Hey, Emma. It's Regina. How is it going? I hope to see you in class. Maybe we should hang out and have a sleep over tonight. It would be fun. My mother is out of town so we can do whatever we want.' The text from Regina said.

'Sure thing, Gina. I'll be there. I just have to ask my moms.' Emma replied and put her phone down.

Lena took them to school and Emma walked quickly to her locker. Lena never saw Emma so eager and happy before. She was glad.

Emma quickly got her things for her math class with Regina. She was going to see her only friend. She walked to class and sat down besides Regina. "Hi." She said softly.

"Hey, Em." She replied.

The class started and Regina put her hand on Emma's thigh. The blonde arched a brow and shrugged a bit, not really thinking of anything.

After all the classes, Emma and Regina walked to Lena's office.
"Hey, mama... Is it okay if I spend the night with Regina? Her mother is out of town."

Lena nodded. Regina and Emma walked to Emma's foster home. Emma walked to her room, getting her stuff then her and her only friend went to Regina's house.

They walked and Regina kept talking about some boy in her bio, he's name was Robin. Emma sighed quietly and listened. Regina had been talking about him forever. Only Emma didn't know that the brunette was only using him as a cover up.

Regina opened the door and they best friend walked in. Emma put her stuff down and closed the door. She bit her lip and suddenly didn't want to be here but she was going to stay, for her only friend.
